The financial year end closing finally came to a close. Working till midnight to entertain US people; working on Sunday to send reports on due on that day.
Seriously wonder if i'm underpaid. lol.
New year started with spending more time at ECP enjoying the breeze and chit chatting till dawn and watching sunrise.
It's been a long time since I last did that. :):):)

Shall do it sometime again soon.. Escape from the hectic city lifestyle.

I have only set 1 resolution this year, as of now.
Maximum 2 day of OT per week ONLY!!! No more extras!

I've got to admit I'm not as young and happening as before. 2 days of late night sleeping and partying, the next day I spent my whole day sleeping till 3pm.
Gosh! First time sleeping till so late!

Christmas eve eve had a party at my place with some colleagues + frens.
Just 6 of us, drinking all night long. It was bad. vomited. haha... All because of the last 11 shots.
No more of such things.

Headed to Ann's place for BBQ night & had lots of fun!!!
I think the highlight of the night was Ann getting Ben's present - The REAL shower head!!! lol...

Gosh! Seriously thought this week will be a breeze but hell no. Those who are still in office will spend these time to chase backlog and do those low priority projects.... Argh...

With all the xmas givings, I have been eating chocolates almost everyday!!!! better do more exercise before the irritating lump comes out.

I always love Christmas the most cause everywhere is lit up with beautiful lightings!!!

Plus, the cold weather (minus the rain) makes it feels like winter... well... FEEL la... haha

Have not done my shopping rounds but am planning to do some rush hour grabs soon! cause i'm left with 5 days!!!

Was walking at Bugis and saw someone wearing Chanel wearing and necklace. I went online to browse but dun have!!! I think it's not sold in Singapore? Thought of treating myself to a gift after getting salary, but, suan le. Save $$$ since cannot buy.... but isn't it pretty? I dun really like Chanel la... but then, it really caught my eye..

Went to sort of celebrate my boy's birthday on last Sunday at Mandarin MELT buffet. It's fabulous!!! I ate lots of oysters!!!! Super fresh! It's festive season so they serve more meaty stuff like turkey. Not bad, but their seafood & desserts still rocks!

wanted to bring him to Flyer, but he didn't want cause he said we all said it's nothing nice. (so dun complain ah)... hehehe

Next year is gonna be hectic, so i'm still comtemplating whether to continue my studies next year or stop for a year before I continue so that I can concentrate on my house + wedding plans for next year. hmm.... whatcha think?

Now is a more relaxed season with many colleagues going on leave, and doing new role (finally!).. less OTs for me!!!! :):):) and of cuz, that's y u see me updating here hahaha...

Well, my direct boss is moving on as a financial controller.

And the current financial controller will be a project manager... Haiz....

And so, the FP&A mgr headcount will be empty, pending new one.

As for me, I still need to continue doing FP&A till the new person come then I can move over to my new role doing tax and inventory.

I think.... There will be more changes to come ba... So many ppl are shocked. Cause I tot there will be two controller... But instead.... Haiz...

Poor girl. Hopefully all goes well for her.....

Kukup Trip 16-17 July

Went for a short trip to Kukup with a roup of friends.. some are colleagues, some are unknown frens whom we got to know each other in the trip. We are all quite open and "anything" so it was easy to break the ice and had some fun.

Kukup is actually a nice place to take a break. Although very poor living condition, the place is very laid back and very very BEAUTIFUL sunset.
Our "chalet" had seaview, and our huge balcony can see the sunset. :):):)
Just amazing, because u hardly get to see the sunset unless u r uber free.

The place is like a chalet where it's double check beds, and one floor can fit up to 20 ppl. Minimum 10 to go. The owner arrange mini van transport to pick us up at singapore and go directly over there.

What i love about there is u do not have to do anything!!!! The package ($85/pax) includes transport, and 6 meals within 2D1N!!!! And they serve you! By the time you reach there is noon, so the meals starts from there.... Lunch, tea break, dinner (BBQ), supper, Breakfast, Lunch.
Seriously, you just keep eating and eating. hhaaha...

what to do? walk around the kampong, ... i like cause it's different from Singapore. The place is actually above sea level, so the houses aer built above it using bamboos etc. like fishing village. Their famous product is dried shrimp/ fish.

You can also play mahjong (there's 4 tables) and there's KTV too. So 4 of us played mahjong and the rest sing KTV taking turns. Quite good. Everyone is entertained.

Did lots of cuts for the jump pose.. it was hilarious.

After BBQ dinner, we spent quite a lot on the fireworks.. it's beautiful.. :) my fav.
After supper, we put the kong ming deng.

It's pretty relaxing and laid back lifestyle. kinda like it. not like singapore. everyone rushing here and there.

Tmr off for another trip again. Malacca! Brother's wedding over there :) .. Another excuse to go shop and eat. hehe...

Post exam review

After so long.... Decided to reblog. Haha. It's a place to speak my mind.

Exams are finally over and it's time for play!!! It's a different feeling when I was taking Fundamental papers and now, Professional paper. Stress level is high.

Hence, have decided to take things slow, enjoy the pace of life and appreciate the process. Shall be taking only 1 paper this semester, also in case if I fail la.... Haha... *choy*!

Am thinking of re igniting my love for dance and also start learning a new language. :):)

Gonna plan for lots of meetup!!! Tomorrow is my first play! 2H!!!

Also, I have rejected the offer of a Regional role. It may be a big opportunity cost (because it's a regional role), but to me, the counter offer was something that I am looking forward. Theres a change in job scope which I wanna learn, and of course, lesser OT!!! Hahaha.... Also, of cuz, they met the terms of the other party and a promotion. To me, regional position may be a huge promotion, but right now, I dun need regional in my resume. To be able to learn other area is what I wanted.

But! I was stupid to reject a competitor opportunity. Damn! Well, forget it. Next time ba. Haha.

Sales are here but I haven got a chance to shop!!! I wanna get a polaroid!!!! And also clean up my room. I have 2 cupboard of clothes (yes. That's right) am gonna clear old clothes so that I can throw 1 cupboard and buy a study table :):):)

On my way back from gym.
Today my big boss really pissed off. Want something immediately and that task is so tedious and mafan and non value adding. Refused to do... In the end my boss do it.
And I foresee I will be the one doing it monthly. Really think we all very free lor. Feel like throwing letter.
Go off site meeting also expect us to do presentation and area of improvement. 3-6points per person. I got two job scope so it's 6-10points... Damn it man. Should have just took the mastercard job which pays so well and only do 1/2 of my current job scope. Sian... Today really sian

Ok am trying to use notes and see if I can upload text to my blog cause I have been neglecting and underground tunnels is the best way that I have time to blog.

Since 2011, I have been busy and have no 'Me' time already cause it's spent on washing clothes, cleaning toilet, mop floor, change bedsheet, iron.. Aiya u name it I've done it.

And because of this, I have spent lesser time with bee cause I need to study too.. This year lagi jialat. Professional papers. Heard they are killers.

Btw, in case u didn't know. I passed my both papers last sem!! Woots!!! Heng man!!!

But this sem dunno got so lucky not cause heard many ppl stopped at professional papers cause they keep failing ...

Every sat got class then I have two more months to exam liao but I haven studied yet... It's damn difficult to listen attentively for 3 hours man.

Well, gotta stop here. Next stop clementi. Prays this works.

wow. guess no one will look at this blog anyways. haha. but this is just my area of anger management, and feelings inside me , that one day i will be able to see my younger days.

It chinese new year chu 3. but this year's so boring. nothing much.. haiz.
Left tomorrow's last day then back to work again.

Guess i can't quit finance industry as yet. cause everyone is against it. want me to try another year in another company and if it still doesn't work out, i can do what i like.
Well, yes, finance industry is thriving and pay is also lucrative. but, the stress level. bth. unless i join small firms ba.. no need to memorise US GAAP, IFRS, Singapore Tax rules.. i guess.. MNC just expects yr brains to remember all sorts of things. and esp. when im in analyst, they expect u to remember what was the initial planned sales number in round 1 when we have been through 4 rounds of changing numbers?
haiz. guess it's different culture ba. many ppl are quitting. and that explains itself.
definitely quitting, but just thinking wad should be my next step of "trying". Audit? MNC? different industry?
audit will be same working hours like what i'm doing now. expect to work till 12mn. OFTEN.
well, confused. take my time to think bah.

With all the holidays for the past week, think i need to work late nights to meet US deadline again. damn.

This year's gonna be exciting for me. Brother getting married. I need to start planning my future. Hoepfully, everything will go well this year.
and yup, start learning cooking. actually, i'm rather pleased with myself that I can manage cleaning the house, washing clothes, ironing, and keeping the house clean without any help. :)

Haven been updating my blog, many updates not done.
But one major change is my maid is leaving permanently this coming thursday.
cause her mum passed away.
she didn't get to see her for the past 18 yrs...

feeling very down despite her nagging at me everyday..
i won't deny i miss her very badly, and crying for the past few days.
but, no other choice.
time to learn household chores by myself, and take care of myself.
i dunno how to face this coming thursday seeing her off..
This new year didn't start very well definitely.

Haha... This is gonna be the one and only post before I go for boot camp studying for my exams in Dec.
Took quite a number of days leave just to study.
Decided to blog cause so long didn't blog and i sort of have nothing to do now, just waiting for my colleague..
Well, this month is pretty hectic. many bday celebrations... Linx was over....
Last weekend my. bf randomly brought me to sentosa to watch the fireworks.. :):):) ... and that one the only time i spent with him for the last weekend...
tomorrow will be my 2 colleagues bday which we will be going for steamboat at bugis.

After which, i will be on leave for the wole week!!! MUG MUG MUG!

hmm, just now wahile shopping for my colleague's gift, was walking along vivo.. the xmas tree is pretty!! the shopping mall is up with deco.. haiz.. i wish for xmas to come!!!!!
Festive season!!! 2011 is coming!!! hahaha....
Time to go shopping! cause i miss shopping... haven been going for a walk for a very long time...

Oh, talking about that. hehe.... My wishlist for Christmas!!! i know it's early lar... but prepare u all mah... cannot meh? Or can also be "post exam gift" mah... hehehe...
No lar, was actually reading one of the mag and it caught my eye. Think of getting a training watch. It can help monitor your heart rate, measure your speed/performance which i think i should get one since I now often go running, plus the fact that my resolution will include running 10km-thon. :D:D
That's my goal... hehehe... Standard Chartered Marathon.

The polar watches are the ones that really quite good and has a lot of features... was seeing their webby and i got too many choices... thinking which one i should get.. though i dunno how much would one cost. Seriously, i think i'm gonna get one so that i know if i'm burning fat or improving performance.

Hmm, wanna get bag!!!!!! shoe!!!!! hehe... oh oh oh... camera!!! hahhaha... ok, i think i'm just stating everything i can think of.

Someone woke me up from my mental state yesterday.
He was worried I may end up in depression.
I lied down and started thinking about myself.
The truth is, yes... i think alot. i worry alot of things that sometimes, it's beyond my control. I worry things that might happen months way ahead.
haha..
I know this is something i need to change. But it really takes time.
All my life since my family separated, I knew i had to stand up alone and be independent.
that's when i start to think alot.. and to push myself to the limits.
I can't stop. cause i already took a break of 2 yrs after JC.
But maybe, it's really time to just rest abit.
The reason why i hit the roof yesterday was probably because of many factors.
My leadership growth plan that i did last week, gave me alot of stings.
My boss commented that i am doing perfectly well, but she expects more because she thinks i can reach further.
There's a section of what's my career interest. That took me 3hrs to think about.
and of course, i still have my exam to worry about. honesty, i just pray i can get 50marks.
2 more weeks is my mock exam.

I guess i might need to take things slightly slower. better go for yoga lessons instead.

thanks mr. honeybee. for waking me up from all my problems. and lending yr shoulders whenever i'm down.

1 more month. and that's it.

honestly, i really dun wanna fail. and really wanna do well... but Time is not on my side.
Often have to work late... not because i want to. but... u cannot don't work ot in here. u will never get your reports out by then. and they will screw u using emails.

Well, this is a super emo post. so might wanna cross it out if it affects yr mood.

i dunno why. somehow i feel that there's alot of pressure on passing this stupid acca thing. cause alot of my colleagues sayd that it's damn difficult to pass. and the fact is, only 46% pass tax. one of the most challenging papers.
i kinda feel that everyone is waiting for me to fail. cause i'm the youngest. hahaha.
plus, these few days i made some errors in my report... and everyone was like shooting emails here and there at night while i went to study....
and i missed one of the deadline. argh. damn shit.
although i try and stay nonchalent, but deep down, i'm just pissed off with myself. haiz.
getting up at 6.30am and finishing the day at 1230am doesn't seem easy anymore.
just mentally drained.
but what to do. Accountant life eh.

Got half day on friday to go out with mr bf. and he surprised me with a trip to Desaru Beach the next day for 3 days! hehehe... .

anyway, it was a good trip... he booked a suite!!! which is two storey one!.. really slept for good long hours and slacking by the beach.
Food was good too.. All seafood for the two days *so sinful*..
Well, time spent together was fulfilling too. it's been some time when we can just sit and relax and talk things beside work related! hahaha..

Chalet over the weekend.
Been a long time since we had a chalet already. Reminiscing the old times..
think as we grow older, we couldn't tahan for one whole night not sleeping .. hahaha..
we basically slept for that two nights.
But we had fun talking and playing.

Happening Events over the weekend

Ok, not much talking. Summary:

Went Dragonboating with my colleagues plus Interns. It was fun!!! first time tried this sport. From Kallang to Marina Barrage and back. Butt hurt, shoulder hurts.
Next, booked Fairmont Hotel to watch fireworks (sponsored by one of our Project Manager). The view was MAGNIFICANT!!!!! I can like just stay there forever!!!...
21st floor, with habourbay view. Plus with the fireworks of the NDP. haiz. damn wonderful. dunno how to explain. but just... FANTASTIC.
Played games and had fun.
After that was Shape Run in the morning. Had a not bad run. was late, and had trouble running thru ppl who were walking at the start point. Dunno wad time I clocked. need to check it out.
Hope i did it within my own timing. :)
Colleagues asked me to try 10km.....
Now, whole body aching................. hahaha...
This week, more fun. CHALET!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think all my weekends are like booked already. hahah.... Love August :D

World cup is finally over!! No more super early nights. (although i didn't manage to stay through the 2-4am) .. haha....
Last Saturday went to Ann house for monopoly session plus semi finals... but in the end.. because someone.. (Ahem! Yuez) didn't make it, we watched two movies, ate 12 wings & each a noodle cooked especially by Ann's wife, before proceeding to the Semi finals.
And i slept. hahaha...
But the two shows that we watched was nice! The Edison show was damn funny!!! think it's called 7girls & 1 ghost bah.
anyway, tomorrow mr loi will be going reservist liao. so i'm all alone. with my books. and my lappy.
I seriously hardly get to go out except for last saturday that i managed to at least meet up with them.
Schooling for the two days is not making things any better too. argh. but i kinda look forward to them cause it's quite interesting leh.
hmm.. hopefully this feeling will go on until after exams. hahaha..

Also had a family dinner two weeks ago. .to celebrate Fathers' Day. yea. i know it's damn long ago. but heck. where got time? my mummy work night shift then the whole week cannot liao.
so we went to macpherson there ate the "He Ping restaurant" near Ann house.
Mummy say nice. My bro and I say "where got nice??? So-So only lor".... pls so ex!!!!
Oh, and my second brother got a new gf!!! hehehe... dunno steady not one leh..
hopefully bah...
Plus, i haven seen my eldest for the longest time. and the first thing he saw me was.
"WHAT DID U DO TO YOUR HAIR?" I felt like slapping him... he always does that to make me nervous and embarassed about my new hair. Then he told me he is going to ENGLAND for 2 weeks!!!!!!!!! and travelling with Bed and breakfast along the way!!!!! JEALOUS!!!!!
Aug 3rd then come back. Then i say, just nice to bring me my present...
then BOTH brothers go "eh, today got soccer match not arh?" ...

Anyway, i managed to persuade them to buy my a present. hehehe..

has been super busy, always playing catching with my best fren - Time.

Many colleagues are quitting... but not yet hiring.
My counterpart fromo another dept is quitting.. meaning no FP&A over there. hopefully this doesn't mean doubling up for them.

June fly past so fastwith just doing next year plan. and it's just the start. haiz.
July starting school again.
Finally got my exemptions! Having to start school, means sacrificing my remaining extra "me" time to revision. my "me" time already so little.
think mr. loi is complaining too cause every weekends during june, i spent my saturdays in office, sunday still work.
Plus, more scope for me coming up as i'm taking over inventory side too.

This June so many bad things happen to me... phone lost, additional new scope in hand, expectations of me getting higher, always getting frustrated and moody because of my work...
... hmm, think phone lost is the major thing. hahaha...

But this June someone is so lucky.... On MY paper, even his GM also comment.. new toy to play, no need to on his laptop to work during weekends!

I kinda forgot wad i did this month. haha...
oh, mahjong - which i lost $50 bucks to the same person AGAIN. (Read: Yuez) hahaha..
hmm, no meetups at all ...
then, watching world cup matches whenever i can...
Just last week, went out with colleagues for dinner, a farewell dinner for my counterpart, mr ben, who's last day is July 2nd. Went to makan, then went CHIJMES but all fully booked!!!... so we headed down to Prinsep st. to watch. Ordered bucket of beer + martinis while watching the match.
it's damn easy to go out to drink and watch matches today cause we all end very late. In fact, this colleague of mine who's leaving is even steadier than me. Always tend to get out of office only at 3/4am. haha...
i vowed to myself not to do that. :)

hopefully before my school starts which is 2nd week of july, i can meet up with everyone else better i go missing again. haha.

suddenly just wondering if i can take leave on my bday not. haha. according to schedule, i think we have a submission on that period. argh. anyways... random lar.

mr. loi going for reservist next month. for 2 weeks i think.

ok, think that's about it. can't think of other stuff other than my submission work next week. haha.

it's been a long time since i have blogged.
well, this time i come back with a heavy heart and a super no mood.
well,

i lost my iPhone.
my precious iPhone that someone bought it for me RAMDOMLY.
and i actually lost it.

The thing is, I CAN'T RECALL WHERE I LOST IT.
At first, i tot i left it in the cab cause i was rushing to work, and i assumed i left it in the cab.
called the service centre immediately after 10 min.
Apparently, he took up a paasenger after me, which was verfied by the GPS tracking system.
So, i tot i couldn't retrieve since most likely that passenger picked up and dun intend to return.
Then, I tried calling my hp... and it still rang!
Usually if you dun intend to return, u will off the hp right????? No password was set so confirm can off one.
but then, up till the next day morning, it was still ringing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, that night, we searched everywhere at home but dun have..
The SOMEONE even flipped downstair's rubbish bin with me to see if i might have dropped it inside since i drank yakult and threw there.
But no, no iPhone to be found. :(:(

anyway, the detailed report will be out on wednesday. hopefully, someone did actually use my phone. then at least, can submit to police to track.

Yay it's long weekend!!!

We ordered chicken thigh. Becoming a chicken idiot, I can still recognise that the meat placed in front of us wasn't thigh meat at all!!!!
I questioned her, then she claimed it was chicken thigh!
Baby went over then told her it was not, then she said she doesn't know how to cut chicken (which was pretty obvious cause it really looks awful) .. then say even if she re-cut, she also dunno which one is chicken thigh..
what the hell lor...

Last week, mr. bf and I watch IP Man 2 ---> IT WAS GREAT FANTASTIC WONDERFUL!!!
Anyway, yup, after that, went to Changi Airport cause nothing to do... then shun bian wait for linx to knock off cause we meeting to play Monopoly..
So, we took 2hrs to tour around our Best International Airport.
It really changed alot... many restaurants , which most of them had long queues....
Then we saw a revamped area for looking at the airplanes... Most insights to airport... like those "Do you Know?" Facts.. quite nice..
After that, went to get Popeye's but it was super duper long queue!!!
After that, went to yuez house to chit chat until 3am... (I selpt at 1am though) hahaha.... :)

Had a happy weekend!
Saturday managed to meetup with 2H to have dinner at Golden Mile chicken rice plus steamboat. :) very long didn't eat, craving for it... After which, since we had the time, we went to over Ben's new house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is SO BIG! I mean, nice lar... Love the swimming pool.. yea, it's not those big swimming pool but hey, at least can fit 2 ppl swiming frog style! Plus, his ceiling height is SO TALL!! .. .The height of the dangling height i think fix to my house can bang head liao lor!
Then, there's a long walk way from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor... 3rd floor is his bedroom...
It's nice one lor.. 2 single bed + one big wardrobe for 2 person, one bathroom... 2 study table... the room still very big even with all these! .. plusplusplus!!! A garden outside his bedroom! (it's empty though)... but it's huge! we already thought wad to put liao. Eg, coffee table and sofa seats, with bbq pit, 1 cupboard of board games! woah seh, weekly hangout liao lor... :):):):) idea?
Well, think it's time to have a housewarming eh? hehehe
After that, we proceeded to kallang leisure park to watch Ice Kachang Puppy Love. The show, erm... not bad la... but abit long and draggy... but ok lar... not bad not bad...$6.50 can watch... hahaha... (see below for Ben's house)
Anyway, then send linx back and chit chat with her until 3AM!!! concuss out!
Sunday was calm and sweet too! :):):):):)
Went to Katong area to have lunch.. Had a spread of malay food at GLORY Catering..
The food is not bad.. But the sambal chilli not very hot though...
the popiah is good! watery kind :)
After that, walked around the nieghbourhood before going for leg massage... cheap and good! Shiok man... I hitnk i'm addicted to massages! hehe...
Must cut down on movie then go massage!
After that, we walked to parkway to see some stuffs..
Parkway changed alot! Now got alot of restaurants. Carl's Junior, Jap restaurant, and many more lar.. cannot rmb..
Honeybee got a new pair of working shoes from Black Hammer. Finally, decided to go home and watch Star Awards.

i'm sorry but i just need to blog about today's CRAPS!!!!

I usually look forward to Friday. cause it's friday mah!!!
But everything took a turnaround when my meeting ended at 11am...
My little project became TOP priority on my FD's desk. I'm like "wth.. it's a minor project.. u wanna pump money in? and create customised features??? ... " well, in short, my project is about tracking products.. manually. yes, manually cause save money mah.
so when i learnt i can build in my project with a current IT system, I just tot only ONE FEATURE will be automated. But, at the end of the meeting with our consultant, my IT colleague and I looked at each other "dumbfounded" ... haiz.. it's sianz cause so mny people will ge involved, and I DID NOT INCLUDE THEM! I will be slapped up,down,left,right if they found out i'm gonna pull them in.. cause they are "old-birds" and well, resistant to changes.
well, bo pian right?boss say he want, cannot say no mah... (but should have just told me right from the start mah! waste my time!)

Next, right after my meeting ended.. I was told to go find my FC (Financial Controller)...
Apparently, a mgr from another dept complained about a report that will be due in May (Planning), complained that we did not teach them how to upload figures into a system...
again, I AM DUMBFOUNDED.
SERIOUSLY?????
Heng my FC did not agree, but I had to do up a guide for them.
HELLO... FYI, there was a training held but YOU DID NOT ATTEND.
Training slides was sent out too!
I almost hit the roof! I immediately sent out an email sarcastically (hidden) of course, which that's wad my FC told me to do so.
Next came... this is even funnier. This is my GM. She's somewhat the biggest in dept, cause she controls Sales & Marketing people, who are very respected... i still dunno why.
anyway, i prepared a powerpoint slide for the regional meeting - 2 slides only, on monday. I OT-ed for that, mind you.
Then, came yesterday, she told me to edit because it's too complicated with too many numbers...
so, i simplfied it with two scenarios (ie. Actual vs Plan)...
then, came today, she told me she made thetwo slides herself and send to me to edit changes...
I'M LIKE WTH!!!!!!!
Can you make up your mind???????????
In the end, it's back to the original 3 scenarios that I sent her, but no numbers!!!!!!!!!
I seriously, can faint. Wat's the point of presenting sales slides, without sales numbers????????????

Was a long and yet fulfilling weekend spent.

Went to catch When In Rome with my boy at Downtown, chill out at Starbucks with bffs, supper with peeps....
Gym-ing, MJ-ing, rott-ing, and........ working on a stupid weekend. that's the only that turns me off. :( ..
Had to finish up my work before I can go out...

When in Rome wasn't a very nice show to watch...
First time I watch such show i felt sleepy... haha...

What's the meaning of i-d-i-o-s-y-n-c-r-a-s-y? I think the person who coined this word is crazy..." came the unprompted reply before she drifted further into a rambling speech. And that, everyone, was Ris Low's maiden voyage hitting the airwaves as a newly-minted 987FM radio DJ on The Shan, Rozz [& Ris] Show.
Fortunately, the bewilderment was nipped in the bud by a swift response from co-host, Shan Wee who stepped in with the denotative meaning [of idiosyncrasy] before turning to his new radio partner to ask if she has any strange habits to tell.
"Yes I do. I shave my armpits every morning, otherwise it will overgrow," Ris offered matter-of-factly over an interview with xinmsn during her radio show.
This, is a beauty queen fallen from grace, besieged by controversies and her bad 'ingrish-speaking' fashion yet she remains oblivious to the stream of stinging criticism; and instead of scrambling for a shovel and digging a hole to bury herself, it seems she is quietly determining her next move - like, ink a radio DJ contract on a primetime show. It certainly looks like all the bad publicity has done its part to muddy up her resume.
News of the ex-beauty queen's co-hosting gig on 987FM broke last week and the station's shocking decision has since drawn flak from several netizens and radio listeners, who feel it is a publicity stunt that, if not managed well, could go terribly wrong.
Posted on MediaCorp's message board, forum user 'jeat17141' wrote: "Gawd no no no no no no no. Poor Shan and Rozz; not going to tune in to them as often now. Thank you for ruining one of my favourite radio shows by turning it into a complete joke."
When asked to comment on the rationale behind its decision, 987FM Senior Creative Director, Georgina Chang said: "Ris has proven that whatever she does, she gets people talking so she really draws a lot of attention and curiosity and [having her], it is just to spice up the evening drive [show]."
Georgina also revealed that the team was appalled at her decision to sign on the controversial ex-beauty queen and despite a slew of negative feedback from the public, she thinks otherwise: "She's not hired for her radio talent but she has a certain reputation and she brings something else to the show. She's not hired for her diction and people are always curious about the things she says so I think it'll be highly entertaining."
When asked about how she would help "to spice up the evening show", Ris replied: "I'm funny, witty and I'm real. I think people want to hear real stuff."
Echoing Ris's stance is Shan, who was extremely sweet toward his rookie partner, and even provided Ris an on-the-spot diction coaching peppered with encouragement. He said: "Rozz and I have been doing a radio co-host show for about three years now [and] that's quite a long time so I'm quite happy to have a change and it's just fun."
"Personally, I think that personality is the most important thing when it comes to the different factors that make up a DJ so Ris's personality is her main asset."
In contrast to the easygoing nature of her regular partner, Rozz appeared a little awkward, at times, certain moments during the show when Ris candidly declared: "I'm settling down pretty well but Rozz seems to be unhappy with me".
Admittedly, Rozz shared her initial hesitation about her new co-host but assured us that she is "ok now". She said: "Ris is very new. Of course she brings a different dimension to radio and obviously we are banking on her popularity but chemistry-wise, I think we'll need a little more time [because] Shan and I actually took a year and a half to get to a comfortable stage where we are now. So yes, I'm a bit apprehensive, to be honest."
To which, the excited rookie partner quipped: "We'll make this work Rozz, don't worry."
If Ris was feeling stress or nervous, she hid it well for she was a picture of calmness despite hosting a 'live' radio show for the first time with zilch experience. When we asked Ris on her thoughts and emotions on her first day on the job, she replied coolly: "It's good for me and it's feels like home."
Well, don't write her off just yet. Take it with a bag of salt, if you must but we hope Ris knocks the socks off her listeners and you may discover yet more reasons or even more of her idiosyncrasies, to love - or hate - the controversial media darling.

Eyewitness identifies ex—Romanian diplomat as driver of black Audi

SINGAPORE: An eyewitness has identified former Romanian embassy charge d’affaires Silviu Ionescu as the driver of the car which hit three pedestrians along Bukit Panjang Road.
One of the pedestrians, Mr Tong Kok Wai, died on Christmas Day last year, 10 days after the accident occurred.
Testifying in the Coroner’s Inquiry into Mr Tong’s death this morning, Mr Mohamed Noor Hussain said he was at a coffeeshop along Bukit Panjang Road when he heard a loud revving sound of a car engine from the direction of Bukit Panjang Road towards Choa Chu Kang Road.
He turned towards that direction and saw a black Audi car travelling "at fast speed", which then hit two Chinese pedestrians who were crossing a traffic junction at Bukit Panjang Road.
The "green man" signal was flashing in favour of the pedestrians, according to Mr Mohamed Noor.
Both pedestrians — Mr Tong and Mr Bong Hwee Haw — landed onto the car’s bonnet due to the collision. The driver applied his brakes and stopped the car suddenly, causing both the pedestrians to be flung forward to another pedestrian crossing.
The car did not stop to render assistance to the two pedestrians, according to Mr Mohamed Noor, who then got up "immediately" and dashed towards the car with a stone in his hand.
He wanted to throw the stone at the car to stop it, but the car headed towards him. As he jumped back onto the road divider, Mr Mohamed Noor fell and injured his leg.
The witness said the driver slowed down the car, wound down the window and scolded him.

SINGAPORE : Singapore director Jack Neo should take some lessons from his latest film "Being Human" - you reap what you sow. The filmmaker's life has been thrown into chaos after his two-year affair with 22-year-old model Wendy Chong was exposed.

Chong, who plays the sister-in-law of actor Mark Lee's character in "Being Human", turned up at the director's home on Friday and demanded to speak to his wife. She told a local Chinese daily that she was upset that Neo, 50, did not answer her phone calls and decided to confront him at his Pasir Ris home. When he finally came home at about 3pm, he returned Chong's calls and agreed to let her in to speak to his wife, Irene Kng.

Chong said she was shocked by Kng's reaction to the affair. Kng, 46, appeared "calm" and told her that she "did not care who Jack was involved with as she was content that she loved him". As Neo's children and maid were home, the three headed to a restaurant at Changi Airport's Crowne Plaza hotel where they were joined by Chong's father and sister, as well as Neo's manager, pastor and friend.

There, Neo admitted to the affair and apologised to Chong's father who was shocked by the affair. He said both parties were "rash" and the affair was a mistake. Chong and Neo met when she landed a bit part in his film "Money No Enough 2".

The model said Neo had initiated the relationship by asking for a number and then invited her to watch him film a movie. He also took her on trips to Malaysia, Taiwan and Indonesia. She added that she did not get together with the director for fame and thought they "would only be together for three months" but her love for him grew deeper.

Neo confessed that he had let his wife down but could not end the affair as Chong had threatened to harm herself. Kng who was not surprised that Chong had turned up at their home revealed that had already known about the affair but did not confront her husband and instead chose to forgive him. She said she learnt about it a year ago after friends saw Neo and Chong together.

Another charged with cheating at casino

A second person has been hauled to court in successive weeks for cheating at the casino.
Assistant accountant Alice Lau Qian Xiu was charged on Wednesday with trying to claim S$630 from Resorts World Sentosa’s casino cashiers by using a "cashout ticket" — issued when punters wish to stop at the electronic jackpots — belonging to another gambler on February 16.
Lau is out on S$5,000 bail and will be back in court on March 31. If convicted, she faces up to two years in jail and/or a fine of up to S$10,000.
Last week, cabby Loo Siew Wan, 53, became the first person charged with alleged offences committed in the casino.
He is accused of trying to hoodwink a croupier at the baccarat table by placing two S$100 chips on the "Banker" option after the result of the game was declared.
Loo, who was under an exclusion order, faces charges of attempting to cheat by impersonation (he used his brother’s driving licence), theft and giving false information to the police.
His case will be mentioned on March 9.

Had a great weekend that went past that I didn't notice it...

New Year didn't start off very good… Came back then vomit until gastric pain, then no appetite to eat at all…was supposed to go to work on Friday then ended up MC. Good = long weekend. Bad= Cannot go anywhere also!! Anyway, luckily got so much better after the second day. Baby came over in the afternoon for awhile to see me cause he had to help at the shop for the whole week... Not enough sleep .. They went to celebrate Yuez Bday but I can't go … :(:(:(:(:( I stayed up the whole night watching the Ella show.. Erm… zhi xiang lai zhe ni… Quite nice :D finish watching everything… hehehe…
Trip to Malacca was not bad… finally first time go on a Family Trip. But boring cause visit Sooooo many relatives… talk talk talk…. Every visit I sleep in the car… haha… cause damn tired… Photos shall upload next time bah … maybe on FB. But I love eating over there... plus the educational trip .. to my cousin's farm...

Baby surprised me on tuesday night (yup,this news took so long to update)..
Just after I reached home late in the night after work, he came to clementi and surprised me with this gadget..
16G iPhone!!!! So fun!!! Lots and lots of games and convenient cause I can surf leisure when I'm outside! And watch shows when I'm free hehe
worked OT these few days until no time to go online and surf net :( but luckily thank gooness I managed to rush out all e reports just now
phew!! Tmr got meeting again... Everytime meeting, everytime new stuff to do...

Long weekend is gonna be over... sobsobs...
seems so short...
Some random activities was having Monopoly Session at Yuez house for two NIGHTS!!!! ...
Played like 11pm till 4/5 am... think we are in the Monopoly craze.. haha...
had a new board which was building 3D industrial/residential areas... abit chim... but quite cool ... cause my Diamond Hill (aka MayFair) provided me income of $8 MILLION!!! hahaha... that's everytime u land on my property with 3 houses... cool man... how i wish i could win real TOTO to have that.. hahaha...
anyway, it was really fun... just hangin out and playing games...
Wednesday went over to my colleague's place to play MJ .. jio-ed Yuez cause short of one "ka"... in the end just two rounds, 3 of us lost to the owner ... total of $160... sianz.. haha...
hmm... next day was half day but it was a tiring half day cause reach home around 2 plus.. then reached office at 8am and chiong month end closing.. so many problems gotta solve..
and i think tomorrow is my doom day liao...

well, although the job seem tough and stressful, but i took it up because it's a very good valuable skill to pick up and learn ... no need to start from the bottom AP/AR and climb..
Apparently, if i stay in Abbott for at least 3 years, one of my goal for the Yearly achievement has to be moving to regional/area, to cover even more countries. ... having that said, i hope i can survive tomorrow, and the next few months first... cause it's tough to start with.

ok!!! freaking long time since i have updated right?? ... yeah...
now i've lost track liao... so anyway... let's start with the recent cause that's the only ones I remember..
MY BROTHER'S WEDDING!!! happened on 5th and 6th.
5th was the traditional day... tea ceremony etc.
damn busy... while, mr. bf was one of the brothers too. so he would know more details than me... i haven got photos yet so i can't upload..
but wad i know wad my 2nd brother kissed my eldest...!!!! And it was a WET one!! how gross can that be?????? I was so shocked man...
more tricks happened but i don't know what exactly happened... back at my house.. I couldn't see my brother entering cause I "chong" him... but after that ok lar...
buffet catered by me!!! but food was okok only lar....
the whole thing ended around 2pm and then they went off to the bride's house for tea ceremony...
after that... i K.O and slept .. hahha...
while baby had to follow and even went to Marina Mandarin with my brother to prepare for the next day's wedding luncheon...
baby went straight for his IPPT after that.... thankfully .... he passed! ... No need go RT! yeah!!!

The actual day was an early one... 7.30 am woke up... got ready to go to Marina Mandarin cause morning got solemnisation.
After which was the actual luncheon... it was... a bit confusing and messy cause my brother and I didn't really know our relatives so had some trouble in identifying who sits where...
but thankfully ... most of them came... so no tables wasted except maybe 2?
anyway... finally everything over liao lar...

Right now.. sometimes i kinda feel lost... lonely.. cause go home no one to talk to. I miss my brother... really...

anyway.... must learn to get over it..

After that.. had a shocking news that yuez's grandma passed away... :( (my condolences dear).... nothing much said.

last saturday went to Yuez new house!!!! at pasir ris thou... -_-"" ... damn far from me...
first woke up damn early to wake the pig head who needs to finish up his project... head to mac while i did dome reading up too... then went to pick linx to go city plaza together to get yuez house warming gift.
met up with ben over there too. then because all of us haven eat lunch yet... and we didn't really looked at yuez's email... we tot she prepared lunch... hahaha... luckily we called her and asked. cause it's dinner. hehe.... so we went to arnolds to eat!!! damn long didn't go there eat liao...
then after that went to yuez house..
all of us so envious!! .. not because of her new house at PASIR RIS, but she got her own new ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!! all of us don't have....=(=( ... can't decorate ours too...
hers is purple colour... though a bit dark for my own preference, but very pretty. =D
our dinner is from 933 golden pillow... food is not bad. =) (thanks honey!)

Always trying to get some rest on weekends cause just too tired.
Finally now got a chance to update cause came to office early.
Finished up most of my stuff le.
Last weekend went to my primary school class gathering ... OMG. Many changes and most of them i can't remember too. esp the guys. Well, it was a really fun time getting together and stuff ... we went to our Form teacher house and managed to catch up with her too.
Missed those carefree days....
Stayed until almost 8pm then went to meet up 2H for dinner at Chomp Chomp.
After that, went home K.O. hahaha...
Tomorrow got Company Bowling session at Mount Faber Safra. sianz...

It's been a long time man. So long didn't blog.

Been super duper busy with work... So many deadlines and finally finished them. Of course, one more coming up again this thursday. -_-"""

Seriously i kinda can't believe that i actually went back to work on PUBLICHOLIDAY!!!! On saturday and on Monday too!!!! And sunday i was at home working on my lappy. can faint man.

Well, the worst has yet to come... haha... no. i think should be.. climbed Mount Fuji already... Coming soon will be coming Mount Everest. cause next week a group of auditors coming in then subsequently another graoup coming in. haiz... they still come in during my corporate reporting period. Deadline=Tuesday! .....

Ok, good news was... i didn't do OT last week!!! hehehe...
Friday evening went to chill with my colleagues at Clarke Quay.. it was quite happening cause they were screening live from F1... We went to eat the famous Ba Kut Teh across The Central then afterwhich went to Clarke Quay to drink and chit chat.

Along the way i saw a damn cool Burger King. At first i didn't think it was Burger King cause outside it absolutely doesn't look like a Burger King although the symbol was the same.

It so don't look like a fast food chain la.

Anyway, went to chill until like 1 plus am before taking cab home with boss.

over the weekend managed to fnd time to myself to go gym cause damn long didn't go liao. and i saw my primary school bestie Jasmine!!!!! She's my favourite in Primary School. Her sister also same class as my 2nd brother that's why we very close. And we used to stay just across the PIE EUnos overhead bridge only. Promised each other to meet up for gym on weekends and find time for Primary School GATHERING!!! Been dying to do that. :)

Then on Sunday went to meet up baby and his sis for lunch at Sakae Sushi.. sort of celebrate their end of "daily test". Last week both of them (same class) had test EVERYDAY!!! just after the lecturer finish teaching one day's of lesson.... damn crazy.
So sunday they finally finished, so went to celebrate and also treat his sister cause her sister turns 21st today!!!!!!!!!!!!

everyday, i'm in office till late at night... can't even go gym.... i'm so getting fatter by the day.

i think the latest i stayed was 1am. i was astonished myself.

i only get to see baby for 2 times a week? ...

haiz. guess wad. my next deadline is on monday 21st july - a public holiday. i swear to myself i'm going to hit that timeline by friday. no going back on saturday anymore!!!

My eldest brother came back from US already... but without his luggage!!!
His luggage got lost in transit!!!!
But luckily managed to find back .. cause the US security opened his luggage to check... haiz...
He was still hoping he can get insurance of 6k... hahaha...

Last thursday finally managed to find time to go out with mr. bf. He finally finished his projects and can relax awhile before he start camping to study again.
Met him after work at 7pm to vivocity.. had dinner at thai express cause i suddenly felt like drinking tom yum soup and their famous avocado juice. =)

After that, went to watch the hong kong movie.. i forgot call wad liao... about the undercover police one... hmm not bad lar...

Esp. Final Destination, The Proposal!!!!!! BandSlam, Management... woah... so many lar..

But baby surprised me cause he knew my hands was very dry after daily flipping of 2008 invoices... he bought me my favourite hand moisturizer...
CRABTREE's hand Therapy! It's really good!!! Esp if your hands really gets dry easily. It absorbs well, and not sticky. The smell is nice too! it has other scents which are equally nice like La Source, Goat Milk etc.

Boring weekend. :(

I have been practically been in office till 7pm plus last week... doing my current job plus training up for other job scopes that i'm gonna handle.
Come 4th working day of next month, you will either see me die trying to reconcile 25+ pages of bank statement/Balance sheet, or ... I will just die at the end of the day in the Directors' office.
Haiz.
Kinda feeling the pressure.
Honestly, I'm praying they will quickly find a new Manager as well as the Finance Controller.. otherwise, i'm gonna get screwed by the F.D everyday man.

my 2nd brother just came back from Japan yesterday after a week of fun... his spending totalled up to 3,000++ SGD excluding airfare and hotel. Fantastic. Jobless and spending like running water.
My eldest brother went to US on the same day when my 2nd brother came back. And he's going for a week till monday. :( ...
I'm home alone again next week...

My birthday I was still working till late around 7pm... :( ...
Then after that, had a simple night out with mr. bf for dinner at Chinatown then go walk walk before heading home cause damn tired.. past few days have been working till late.
Anyway, then Friday suddenly just decided to watch movie and I only knew if like 7pm. haha...
All the way to TAMPINES. watched WHERE GOT GHOST. I think... so so only lar.

Then yesterday, met up with 2H again to watch movie at PS for UP!!! ... not bad too...
Both movie our seats at row H... Cinema 3.. haha ... so qiao.

hmm... today national day... but i went to teach tuition and met up my 2nd brother to collect his car and run some errands cause he leaving for Japan ... :(:(:(

And, I just wanna let out some steam.

HELLO HELLO HELLO!!!!!

My happenings for the weeks!!!

Hmm.. Friday went out last minute to meet up linx and yuez for super late dinner at 8plus... went to Siglap .. initially wanted to eat char chan teng, but ended up at cafe cartel. And we are sosososo Singaporean... There was a promotion after 9pm the snackers, starters, coffee drinks and cakes are all HALF PRICE!!!!
HALF PRICE!!! So.. we chatted and waited till 9pm then ordered.. hehehe... All of us orered pastas cause it's 1-for-1. hehehe... Damn good deal.
We order pastas for each of us, 3 different tyoes of Cheesecakes, Snacker Platter, and coffee blends for each of us!! ... hahaha... and the total bill added up to $60++.. CHEAP EH???
After chatting for till 11plus, we went back hom because linx had to work and mr. bf got class.

Saturday I went gym for 3 hrs doing cardio cause i had nothing to do... baby got class then project meeting until like 7plus. Waited for him at school then we headed to Clarke Quay for Singapore Food Festival. It was the last day... most are peranakan food cause they are promoting Nonya food. We walked around eating here and there, taking photos cause very long didn't go clarke quay le.. In fact, it's been a long time since i go walk and shop in Singapore.

Next up on my "walk and shop" list would be Ion Orchard! It has lots of cool shops there!! Really!! And Smashbox is in Singapore!!! hehe... I remembered last time i used to buy their primer at Hong Kong cause it's good!!! And it has lots of new food outlets too!
Ok, anyway, here are some pic we took...

Over the weekend, having so much time, I chiong-ed all the way watching the Korean Boys Over Flower. It's the Taiwan F4 version of Meteor Garden. The drama is rather similar but some parts are different. Anyway, I finished watching on Sunday. Its good!!!!!!

It's been a god damn long time since we had a chalet le.. Really looking forward to it.

But think many people are kinda squeezed for time... but at least we managed to take time off for this chalet gathering. Well, it shows what real buddies are, eh? Yippie!!! I can't wait... though sunday i have to leave in the noon for an RC event. haiz.. Oh shit, have to change my tuition schedule too. Forgot.

Oh!! I have been dying to go the movies too!!!! Been a long time since i went to movies too. But really busy though.

Okay, gonna sleep liao. My eyes are tired from looking at the computer from 9-5 and seeing numbers. haha.

KL Trip

FINALLY! Managed to get some time to use internet and blog.

First, talk about the KL trip.

It wasn't a very good start though. Sat at Transtar Premium bus because I only support Transtar... however,.. when we were almost reaching KL, the bus broke down!!!!! :( ..

had to stop by the side of the highway and wait for another bus to come pick us.... under the damn hot sun.

reached the hotel like 3plus liao... super hungry... but we had to get the training tix so walked to Pavilion and met the lady.

After that, we rushed to eat our lunch... damn hungry. i brought him to try the chickren rice which i always ate when i went for conferences. because... there aren't many chicken rice that is actually nice in KL. well, that's like the most acceptable one.

Food in KL is rather cheap ... so u can order alot and won't feel the pinch. haha..

After that, we began our SHOPPING!!!!!!!!

My favourite, but not his favourite. hehe...

Went to Sungei Wang Plaza to shop...

He was so bored that he began to use the camera and start shooting aimlessly. for that, I shall not post it. cause it's ALOT.....

Shopped till 9pm before we went to the famous street Jalan Alor to eat.

Btw, we stayed at Radius International and it's damn near the food street. hehe.

My favourite was the fried mushroom with salad mayo. Super nice :D

By the time we got back, it was close to midnight liao.... damn tired. Our first day loots.

Next day... we went to Kim Gary to have our breakfast. I think it's so-so only, although it taste much better than Singapore's Kim Gary. The chicken wing is nice though.

Hmm, after that we shopped for awhile again before heading to Jalan Bukit Jalil National Stadium for our MAN UTD TRAINING DAY.

We waited for quite long cause we were early.. So the sun tanning begins...

Went the Man Utd Players came out, everyone screamed like hell. Even he started screming like i've never heard before. They exercised right in front of us so we managed to see who is who.From the camera we can see rather clearly. well, the training ended around 8 plus. After that we proceeded back to Bukit Bintang for dinner and shopping again.

On our way back by train, we passed by this. Talk about cheap food. Mac here is the same price as over there. Except, of course, the exchange rates are double. Imagine eating there, ou will save $3 everyday... haiz.... KL is CHEAP FOOD PLACE

The actual day was even frantic. The match was supposed to start at 5.30pm. So being Kiasu, we wanted to get good seats cause it's free seating. So, we decided to go shop around in Times Square then go over at 1plus. At 2pm we reached there, we were already considered late. -_-" so many people were already queueing.. So, we tabao A&W and started "queueing"...

We weren't exactly queueing cause we saw the crowd man people were not queueing so we play cheat. haha...

the gate wasn't opened yet so i went to get drinks. Then. went the gates were going to open, everyone rushed in front. There, i lost him. haha... He was in front which i was behind.. While squeezing, my surrounding was Singaporeans too! In fact, many are Singaporeans. haha... we chatted while sqeezing cause baby is way in front. I told him not to wait for me. Squeeze and get good seat and "chop" .. hahaha.... Auntie hor? .. but for Man Utd, he was more than ever willing.

Finally, when i got in, he was already sitting right in front in the second tier - the first row. haha.. perfect man. Again, the sun tanning began...

Then we saw Ming Xue and Zheng Yi diagonally above us.. hahaha... Such a coincidence.

After like 3 hours, the match was starting soon.... and the crowd was horendous. It was overwhelming. Cause the stadium is 3 tiers, not like us.... apparently, it fitted 85,000 audiences. It was practically a sea of red.

Some idiots trying to make themselves famous, wore Liverpool shirt. haha. dumbass.

One was cool though. He put up a signboard that says "SIGN ME, FERGIE" ... hahah.... damn funny lar.
Finally, when the match began... the roar and cheer from the fans.... my hair immediately stand. everyone was crazy.

The first goal was by Rooney, then subsequently, at half time, the match was a draw. I felt that Man Utd was slacking. and ... the suck. hahahhaha.. opps...!!!

Anyway, in the end, MICHAEL OWEN helped Man U score their 3rd goal and they won. Owen is so cute.!!! hehehe... Too bad he went to the lousy team. :(

To cut everything short, it was a good experience and fun. though it's not liverpool.

The next day, we ate the hotel buffet breakfast to try... and true enough, it is damn lousy.

Then, some last minute shopping and sight seeing to view the COSMO's World Largest Indoor Theme Park. It was quite expensive so we decided to give it a miss. But the roller coast ride seems fun though. Quite chellenging. haha.. But i think it's RM45 bah... some package i think.

We went back to check out then had our lunch at Stenven's Tea Garden. The famous teh tarik. The Nasi Lemak is quite nice and the bread is even nicer. Wanted to go Hard Rock Cafe to eat but apparently it has closed down... :(

Well, that's all for my KL trip. We spent a total of RM1,000++ on shopping and food. hehehe... broke liao...

Well, without any delay, i started work on Monday. No more tai-tai lifestyle. hahaha...

Helping out at Abbott because their Audit is coming so assist them in finance dept. learning new stuffs.

damn tired....

Wow.

I kinda forgot what I did last week already.... hmmm.. in no order...
I know I did something on wednesday and thursday .... but i really have no idea liao...

I only know Friday I went to meet up with uni mates for dinner at Iluma Bugis... First time went there... Apparently the top floor got a Japanese Restaurant damn cool one.... Use STYLUS to order from the Menu book itself. cool eh?
No need waiter to take order..

But then ... the food was so-so only lar... Not worth for the price.

After that, we switched place to Bugis Swensons to eat GIANT EARTHQUAKE ... The biggest ice cream.... 5 of us shared and happily indulge it.

Many updates like 2 of my friends became STANSFIELD TUTORS ( like asst lecturer) ... I'm like .. woah kaoz... like that also can be arh? ... then they told us how they teach... haha... lol...

apparently they were teaching a class with no background and they are taking certificate in management i think....

then my fren said "Swami (our maths PHD Lecturer) gave me the lecture objectives so little, not enough to cover 3 hrs... and cannot teach Logarithms,Exponential, Trignometrical because they are adults with no maths background... ask me draw up a lesson plan....I went to buy Emaths txtbook teach in the end.." .. damn funny ... "I had to talk rubbish for every 15minutes to stretch the lesson" ...

well, but life of a tutor isn't that great... eveything the collect shit... haha...
only our lecturers are enjoying life man... haiz..

anyway, after that i rushed to meet 2H because I was late... went to ECP to eat wanton mee and talked until 3AM!!!!

Next day, baby fell sick... high fever...

Sunday... supposedly need to meet 4F peeps cause Ben leaving for overseas studies the next day but had to attend ah ma's funeral.
Was there till late before going home.

Monday... went to attend Excel Expert Course .. initially 830am... but SOMEONE told me "no need come so early one, course usually starts at 9am" ... sounded so confident, I followed her advice... in the end, I reach at 845am, went in and they already started, damn paiseh... the trainer later on hinted me the actual start time...

I msged my lovely fren, she was still at HOME!!!!!!!!!!! -_-""""""

haha... anyway, still wanna thank her for getting such a discount for me and having lunch these two days with me...

Friday met up with 2H FINALLY to go supper at BANGALA place...
Baby and I went to pick the Bedok-ians and went over to wait for the remaining F3...
Meanwhile, chatting loads of rubbish and listen to Zhou Gong Jiang Gui.
After that, tabao-ed MAC .. A total of 3 boxes of Chicken nuggets!!! Each person must eat 10 nuggets.. hahhaa..
Went over that ulu place and crapping around then via and boon came ..
It's been a long time since all of us managed to gather together..
Talked until 3plus then willing to go home..

Saturday.. went to tuition then dinner with my family! :) at Bishan there.. Good food! hehehe
Got Cold dish, Snails, XO Herbal Prawn, damn Big platter of chicken with mushroom, Curry Fish, Scallops and Aspargus basket...
My favourite food is the Snails and the Herbal Prawns... Superb! haha..
Super full until the next day cannot eat lunch... haaha

Waiting for my drama to load finish so decided to blog and talk crap.

Today did some miscellenous stuffs ... and plus calling up philips security to scream at them.
Went over to baby's stall to help out since i have nothing to do too.
He can't accompany me cause he is having block teaching classes too.
anyway, it's ok. I went to to get some "ME" time alone.. it's reallygood to have some quiet time to yourself. Helps u to relax and rejuvenate.

Then started my job hunting again - as usual.
Now watching a new drama. cause i finished the SCV "shi nai bing shen" ... now watching "scissors paper stone". and munching chips.
Yup, that's what u get when u have nothing to do. sit and watch movie and become fat. hahaha...

3 of them (Ben,Edwin,Don) went Japan last month.. so the craze still there lar.. Ben was the tour guide .. cause he is proficient in Jap and he studied Japanese too. So.. Elton and I was just listening all the way .. haha...
Talked about other stuff and baby came to pick me up after his class...

Saturday came .... hectic... went to consecutive birthday parties!!! Below is my uni mates. My last year batch. The girl (Indian) is her 21st birthday ... i talked until damn long.. anyway, then I rushed down from Punggol to East Coast Chalet for Nyit's 21st Birthday... no photos cause i was damn late.. like 1030 then reached.. hahaha... Around 11plus then baby came to pick me home cause he was there running ... *sweets* .. he knew i was damn tired liao lar..

went to Sim Lim Square to accompany baby fix his desktop plus get a laptop for himself.

Shop like 4 hours... then finally decided on Acer Aspire .. it's Dolby Home Threatre system.. hehe... damn cool .. but specs not very very fantastic lar...

But at least can watch movies with surround sound plus it's glossy screen.

One bad point: ITS HUGE!!!!!! ... 16" LCD Monitor equivalent man! .. And he said he likes it because it's huge! ... maybe guys different prespective ba... my brother's lappy also very big..

but quite good lar. damn cheap. $999 only!!!! My laptop cost 3 times lor ...stupid me for getting such a expensive laptop. No use gettng so expensive cause a laptop life span only approx 3 years...

anyway, i still love my laptop for being damn light. hehe.

Oh!!! Never ever park at Sim Lim. It's damn expensive. We were there for 5 hours caused us $18++ !!!!!!!!!! wth. dunno corect not lor.. damn it.

Today I was awoken from my slumber by my vibrating phone. An unknown number called. I immediately woke up and prepare myself to be chirpy. Then I called back...
It was from Recruit Express. He mentioned his name and I remembered I sent my resume applying for a Finance job.
And I thought; " Oh Great! Finally a related industry job for me!!"
He started rapping and then asked me to go down for an interview at 3.30pm.
I was quite happy!

But guess what...
When I went in, he told me he wanted to recruit me.... Yes. Recruit Express wants to recruit me. Haha.. i was in shock! Here I am looking for a job through Recruit Express .. and they offered m their job.

Today (Tuesday) went for interview at PAYA LEBAR ... -.-"""" ... some stupid crap job which I got offered for 2nd interview after a few hours... sianz... definitely not something i look forward to a job... :(

Tomorrow gonna go out with mummy! ok... gonna sleep liao... i think i just sent like a massive 20 resumes just now.. hahas... And i think i can be awarded The Most Frequent gym member liao.. Morning go.. Evening also go....Nothing to do=Go gym.. my weight hit at low max. of 47kg. Amazing even though that wasn't what i wanted... But my layer of fats around my tummy is still there.. which was my objective!!! Sobsobsob... !!

Hello! Greetings!!!

End of the week again... Still jobless!!!! Sobsob...
Had a fun-filled weekend ... went to Sentosa with mr. bf on Thursday.

Met him at Harbourfront MRT at 12 .. had lunch before heading to take the shuttle bus to Sentosa. We wanna complete the task by covering the rest of the areas we haven covered before.. hehe...

On the bus to Sentosa....

Immediately went to buy admission tickets for the various entrances...

Our first stop was Fort Siloso!

Boy!... It was tiring at the end of the tour.... damn hot sun!!! killing us... but i thin we managed to burn off a few kilos man!

We were given a token to drop into any of the 8 merlions and we will receive a special gift... but... the special gift turned out to be a fan and a small key chain with light... -_-

Anyway, after that we proceeded to the 4D Magix which we anticipated for a long time... It ws really fun!! and we went to try the new game called Desparados! ... its sitting on a horse that it shakes... after that u need to keep aiming and kill bad people .. and be a good shooter cowboy... in the end... he managed to get the spotlight twice!!! the spotlight beams on whoever gets the highest kills...

Everything ended around 7plus ... we were damn shag liao... took the shuttle back to harbourfront and had our dinner... afterwhich, we went home.... damn tired...

We will find one day to go to NIght Safari cause we haven been to Night Safari at all!!!!

We also mnaged to catch 2 movies on the same day!

My brother initially arranged to meet me to buy present for his gf .. but ended up cannot meetme...... so we rushed to watch Land of the Lost and then Ghost of Girlfriends' Past.

Land of the Lost is funny!!! but very no link lar... no plot one ... but it's worth watching to laugh ... the Ghost of Girlfriends past was good too... though ... some may find it boring... haha...

after that he went to meet up his friends... abandon me .... hehe... so i went to gym...

Saturday did nothing but gym gym gym!! until evenig went over to his place... we went to Toa Payoh for Father's Day dinner.

Haven organise my family's Mother's cum Father's Day ... we didn't celebrate moher's day because it fell on my exam. Thus together better... save money too! haha....

Think gonna go to the usual seafood place with cold plate, lobster, crabs, prawns... hehe ... yummy! .. i quite like that place.. food is nice!

Got lots of stuff to catch up too cause hear my 2nd brother quitting liao.. gonna change to do oil rig industry...

as for my eldest... haiz... troubled with HDB... sianz... damn H**....... A piece of advise to everyone out there: Make sure you buy your HDB unit first before your combined income hits above $8k .. unless ... you combined income exceed way above that such that you are considered upper class... then ignore the statement. It only refers to upper-mid class group of income.

Tuesday went to NUH to checkup... Went through an X ray test and a spinometry test.. test for breathing problem.. but doc say my lungs are okay... but he suspects it's my stomach giving me problem. highly likely is acid reflux liao. Next month going to stomach department...

My brother gotten Serangoon unit liao through balloting... but then..... at date of application... he is not unemployed!!!! sobsobs... it's one day difference only.!!! haiz.. dunno will our "method" work not... dangerous... sianz... otherwise $2,000 for the deposit gone liao.. :( and the unit... haiz.. so convernient. behind is Chomp Chomp. go outside turn left is amk liao.. near his gf hse.. near cte too!! haiz...
this time really must pray to all gods hopefully the hdb give him bah...

yesterday went to ecp to eat dinner with DMLG + 1 fan. then journey to the west. went home to help my mummy pray..

Friday went fishing with godpa,-ma,-sis..
But was lousy.... didn't catch many fishes... boring... haha.. cause very quiet. Not alot of people.

Saturday didn't do anything... accompany mr. bf to SIM to study ... i camp there use computer ..

Sunday.. went church... stomach damn pain... didn't do anything but lie down rest... couldn't go Sakura with godpa they all cause damn pain...haiz... Sarah's birthday tomorrow. My godsis.... whom I always thought she turning 20....
But... she is only 19!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG...
I felt so old... haiz...

Tomorrow mr. bf first paper. Jia You!!! Actually he just have to pass only lar... cause .. this stupid idiot got 97/100 for his project... -_-" ... haha ... but i'm happy for him la... but if i'm his friend i super sadded ... haha... anyway, good luck baby!

Checkups + Movie + what's road ahead of me

Monday went to checkup at Polyclinic at Clementi.
Doctor decided to send me to specialist at NUH for checkup... he suspects i have acid reflux... its actually called Gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Anyway, Tuesday going for that checkup...
then, yesterday, had to go and see a private clinic because i vomited that morning... twice.. ad it smelled like FRESH DURIANS!!! cuz... the night before i ate durian .. haha...
chest pain and my upper abdominal felt throbbing pain...
it turned out... i have gastric pain... and it could be also due to the fact that i only shit twice a month... haha...
so many problems...
anway,didn't eat much cause no appetite... went to mr. bf place and slept throughout the afernoon while he went to mac to study...
after that, luckily i felt slightly better because i had to meet the girls at PS for our movie which i jio-ed them... haha.... dewei came to join us for dinner too and we bombarded him with lots of questions because it was ages since we saw him ... must everything before we let him off ... haha...
we ate ajisen.... but i can't eat my Volcano... =(=( ... had to settle for seafood ramen... sianz... only ate half of it...
One avid fan of Ajisen has finally gonna ban Ajisen because the soup base taste different and the chilli powder also different and most importantly, NO MORE PRAWN MAYO!!!! haha....

then we went to watch Hannah Montana. Actually only me and linx wanted to watch but i managed to drag via too cause she off day anyway... then yuez... hehe... kinda bo pian .. hahaha...

The movie was ok... i quite like it... jus chick-flick...

Today, met up with my faniancial planner ... and he still psycho-ing me to join him cause he knows from my previous colleague that i liked OTOT jobs... like i have my own free time and also no one to control me and still be disciplined to hit target and to help my surroundin people to plan for their $$.... I actually referred him to many of my friends because of the benefits i told them ... haiz... but dunno whether should i give it a shot or not....
HOnestly the benefits are really attractive... and more still, i can plan for many of my close people their retirement etc... esp their hospitalisation... hehe..

Am now at West Coast MacDonalds with mr. bf... he is studying and me, same - playing Restaurant city... haha...
also.. searching for jobs..
I can't decide what jobs I wana do...
I love doing events jobs (previous job) .... or doing those temp jobs retailing... but i know .. this is useless for my resume... yet i really enjoy them..
OR...
should I just find a job relating to Finance industry ... but they pay very low .... close to 'O' level grad...
Or...
should i just find any jobs that pays good... w/o adding benefit to my resume??
My results only out in end Sept... haiz... damn long.. damn confused...
So many people give different views...

Last night went last minute supper with Yuez and Linx... cause mr. bf just finished studying so met them went to East Coast Park eat...
Did a lot of catching up .... I really miss those times...
Very long didn't chat for so long...

Bedok-ians are gonna get lesser cause the two girls moving soon... this means... one super east... and me .. super west ... hahaha....
Talked about HDB stuff ... and i got worked up ... cause my mum stupidly gave money away to HDB.. haiz...
They were talking about the upgrading thingy ... need money to pay...
then because my mum paid a hefty sum for that useless thing... i got worked up...
actually singaporeans only ned to pay small sum of instalments using cpf only lar... but... because my mum already enjoyed 2 upgrading already.. (our previous 2 flats kanna upgrading) ... so no more benefits!!!! means she had to pay a total of $10 k plus... or maybe slightly lower... can't remmber liao ... damn it man...
i remembered becaus of this my brother and i quarrelled with my mum...
haiz.. anyway what's over is over... just thinking of it made me worked up...
ok, bak to the night little outing... mr. bf had the honour of 2 gals accompanying him back ... cause he sent me home first.. haha...

Tomorrow going to polyclinic get referral liao cause breathing difficulty getting more serious .. the chinese medicine also no effect.. haiz... sianz... gonna wait damn long again...

My Happening Friday!

Yesterday morning purposely woke up early to go jogging because I had to skip gym for fishing. But my motivation stopped shortly after 2.4Km... it was so hot and damn long didn't run already... haiz...
Went home bath and got ready to meet my god-pa,ma,sis for fishing at Pasir Ris...
Luckily the sun wasn't that hot... I didn't really got any sunburnt.
I managed to catch 2 fishes. =)=) ... but total there was quite a number of fishes caught..

After that, rushed to Odeon Towers Hanabi Restaurant to meet up with the girls.
It was a buffet and I ate like 4 persons worth of Salmon... wanted to eat more but very full after eating many other food..
Managed to catch up alot alot of stuffs and many updates too.... and planning of events in next few months.. also... talked about Facebook applications.. haha... since now i have nothing to do... i can hook on the internet and play all i want!!! hehe...
After that we went to Minds at Purvis Street and continued chatting and playing games...
Around 1am then go home...
