2nd post. just came back from uncle's funeral.

sometimes i wonder why do good people leave earlier than bad people?

Why does God have to take away people who are of good souls & lovely people?

Unfair.

Leaving behind.... groups of people who mourn for him, his family, his wife especially, his friends..

Exam results coming out real soon... i really really really cross my fingers hope i pass everything... pls... pls.... pls.....

Sgt Loi going to ORD liao... oh ya, he's going in University of Wollongong. Supply Chain well-know school in Australa... but he not going australia. he found singapore has one offering that particular course. and he's taking one yr to complete then take Bachelor liao... then can continue to Masters ... good for him...

finding HK hotel is rather tough... stupid peak period... haiz...
remembered i ddn't had such problems before cause company sponsor... haha...
sianz... hopefully this time round can approve...

first is the FIREWORKS FESTIVAL: 22 august 2008, at Marina Bay Floating Platform.





Waited for Sgt Loi at clementi mrt for 45 minutes... -_-" ... yet... i didn't get angry... haha... patience eh... hehe... had to pass out the current batch of trainees... so waited until 7.20pm...


then went to city hall .. walked damn fast cause 830pm must reah mah...


anyway, the way to the floating bay was super crowded... thin 1/2 ofthe population was there...


we squeezed thru and went to find out seat... it was still kinda drizzling... then .. some fire shows started... then Tanjong Katong Military Band came out and presented their performance... very good... classic...


Then the fireworks started!!! WOW!!! haha... The french team presented that day's fireworks... very nice....


I just starred and woah.... haha... like a dumb girl... haha...

So, after that, took a long walk back then went to eat You Tiao Da Wang. =)...

Today going to one of my uncle's funeral.... Life sometimes is just unpredictable... haiz..


today is also BEN'S BIRTHDAY!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

operation was over yesterday. supposed to be 45 minute. turned out .. it was 2hrs plus...
was feeling lousy and weak... painful.. cause Doc had to stop my lungs from breathing in order to cut out my nervous sweat glands.
mr. bf was there with me throughout the operation, staying vigilant. made sure my mum and brother was informed of the ops cause they coudn't take off.
had difficulty in breathing now.. and can't really laugh cause my chest will hurt ..and can't really move my arms caus Doc went through my armpit.. my hands are ok... can't sleep well too cause i can't flip sideways to sleep...
but i'm recovering well.. don't worry..
just wanna thank mr bf and his family for taking such good care of me... and for preparing fish porridge and making sure someone is around me to help me in normal walkabout stuff.
and also to mr bf for wasting his leave to come and take care of me...know he's tired... having to wake u 550am every morning and still take care of me... when i was feeling painful from lying down.. and eating trouble... could see his expression... i'm sorry...
i will try to recover as fast as possible.
thanks .. thanks for making sure everything i need was thereright in front of me.... water, controls, medicine, thermometer, books... thanks for staying so vigilant... even a tiny slightest pain u ensured me i'm fine.. think i can't never say enough thanks to you..

My first Batam trip =) .. i hope ther's more tocome .. haha..
left to harbourfront reach there around 12pm .. there's was like a super super long queue to enter the boarding entrance... in the end we cut queue cause the boat is departing .. hehe.. it is an hour ride journey.. then reach there.. first thing we did was LOOK FOR A&W!!!!! ... we were starving ... went to Batam Centre Megamall (we dhad a hardtime finding it) ... we ordered like 2 sets of chicken meal plus waffles... shiok!! hehe... ate like a pig.. really miss A&W!! after that went to check in ... the hotel is damn beautiful... got very grand look.. very venice style... one bad thing was... it was raining and there was thunder storm.. which means... we can't even go beach!!!! sobsob... we slacked in the hotel.. walked around the hotel surroundings... the next day we went early to Megamall... why?? TO be the FIRST customer at A&W at 10am!! hehehehe... this time we ordered extra one chicken black pepper rice which cost only $2!!! CHEAP!!! and we ordered chicken soup and extra curly fries on top of what we ordered yesterday.. hahaha... 4 seater table also not enough ... then bought J.Co doughnuts cause half a dozen cost only $4.50 .. heheh... that's why i say i will definitely go back batam for a day trip ...why? for the A&W, the doughnuts .. and i found my favourite JOHNNY ADREAN!!! My CREAMBATH!!! In Indonesia, Johnny Adrean is famous hair salon .. has many outlets all over indonesia. I went for their creambath in jakarta and it cost me only $10. Creambath is a special hair bath which obviously uses cream/ milk like formula..inclusive of a fantastic head massage. for 10 bucks... i think its worth it.. next time will definitely go there for that.. and the movie too... checked and it cost ony $5.00. How cheap is that?! cheaper than malaysia. haha...
well, weekend over le... this week damn busy. friday saturday all burnt. Friday morning got to be at Meritus Mandarin for ALL EMPLOYEE's MEETING for ABBOTT Laboratories and then rushing to work at a seminar in Intercontinental hotel.. saturday until 8.30pm =(( sianz...
tomorrow going for the surgery at NUH at 1015.

Birthday 2008

Thanks to EVERYONE for the presents and/or wishes! Really appreciate and love you guys!

Shall start talking about ... MY BIRTHDAY!!! oh! before i continue, let me do the disclaimer: Please note that this post is rather 'hair-standing', thus if you can't stand, please don't read.

haha... erm... i really enjoyed tis year's birthday... at 12 midnight sharp, mr bf was at my door step wishing me happy birthday and singing a super beautiful birthday song.. haha anyway ... someone(READ: the idiot whom i mentioned) was lying the whole time... first, i thought he had live range that day.. so we agreed to meet up after 530pm for dinner... then when i finish work at 1230pm... that idiot (i shall not name, but if u dun know, it's Sgt Loi...) hehehe... erm.. that idiot was standing in front of the lobby.. hahaha... dunno what to say also.. kinda shocked cause .. such a blur person also can find harbourfront centre.. haha.. and, bought me an egg tart which i've been craving for. but one thing, he forgot to buy a cake (Note: He's an idiot who lies!!)...

Then, he planned a steamboat at home.. hahaha... =) ...

While we were on the car, he told me wad my present was... And it really shocked me (yes, another shock) .. he went early to harbourfront before i knock off to get tickets for a beach resort which i've been wanting to go for ages! but the funny thing was... haha... i scolded him. hahaha... for wasting money cause weekend prices is super expensive. although i dunno the price, but it's definitely damn ex... well, that's not it. I got another double shock-attack. another present was the tickets for fireworks festival 2008! hehehe... and u know what?!! i asked him on monday afternoon whether he free on friday not, and he say not free.. -_-", then now i realised he has already bought the tickets on Monday morning! haha... kinda surprising cause it was the same day when i asked him and the time he bought the tickets.. we have telepathy. yea.. haha.. but ... i am really touched at what he did.. everything..

anyway, we went to sheng siong to buy the stuff and went back to prepare. The pot and stuff was already on the table with the soup too.. two of us eating steamboat.. well, we filled up the whole dining table! hahaha... sorry, no pictures cause just totally forgot about it.. haha... the feeling was like ... a candlelight dinner .. without candlelights and it was lunch. erm. eh... so, it's just a lunch. haha.. but! the atmosphere was kinda special... =)...

well, after that, we cleared the stuff... and suddenly appeared with a cake... it really kinda touched me.. the effort to get everything done .. doing it with a one-man show... it's tough.. i really appreciated everything... he sang another birthday song, in chinese now... while he was singing.. i was tearing... haha.. and tearing quite badly. the whole series of events and surprises he made, be it small or big, was really sweet.. =)=)=)=)=)

then we were supposed to watch the dark knight at 7pm .. but then when he fnish bathing, he received a call that the next day he was to report camp at 0630 for live range. then he decided not to watch at 7pm kallang ... and we changed it to 830pm bishan cause he's going back camp to sleep... (who said he will go back everyday when nearing ORD?) hahaa.. but no choice lar.. hmm..
then his dad very cute.. called him to say some stuff.. haha... nvm..

One super super funny thing i must mention!!! On the bus, mingyue msged us to each provide a number for TOTO.. then he sent first cause i was messaging my brother. then when i sent mingyue back the number i chose, she replied me saying both of us (mr bf and me) chose the same number!! hahaha. when both of us received the msg from her, we looked up at each other and start laughing on the bus.. (it was kinda loud) hahaha... isn't it peculiar.. haha... think iwill never forget this.. really damn funny.. poor mingyue... must have thought we were playing a joke.. haha... super telepathy eh? .. haha...

back to the dark knight... mr. blur toppled the popcorn again.. haha.. and he's angry with himself =(=(=(=( ... dun be angry.. mistakes do happen ..correct? ... after that, we took mrt.. he went back to camp and i went home myself le..

I just wanna say... really really thank you.. for everything that u have done, the effort and the thought of making me happy. I really appreciate everything. I will never stop saying thank you.. and i'm sorry.. if you know why i've said it. i am looking forward to the beach resort and.. seafood! Je t'aime baby.

Haven gottime to update.. and also .. no pics to update too .. cause it's with the rest of them..
but here's a summary.

Friday: met up with my lovely 2H for dinner at Coca Suki Restaurant at International Building. Buffet style. Service was not bad. food also not bad.. apparently all the girls arrived and all the guys were late! started eating without them .. haha..
after that went to the carpark to cut cake... haha .. super nice ambience ... hahaha.. sweating like hell cause carpark vry stuffy.. then somemore, dewei ann and me had to open our cakes by ourself and stick the candles and hold the cake ... haha... really special! haha .. after cutting, we put back the cake and drove to cineleisure to watch movie. since we had a bit of time, we quickly finished off the cake in the car.. haha... then opened presents!! .. i love the presents! i got a watch and a calendar which has my photos in it.. really nice!! thanks guys! ...
went to watch Money No Enough 2. wasn't very nice lar.. not as funny ... but very emotional .. worth to watch thou cause .. it teaches us values and keep us in mind of what is happening in the society right now.
After that went to Kallang Mac for supper (3am) .. haha ...

Saturday was another celebration with 4f peeps. (Edwin, Zu xiang, elton, gerald, ben, wern chek and me) it was edwin's actual bday. so we celebrated his bday and mine as well too. went to suntex Kushinbo. Food was good too! buffet.. and i ate a lot of salmon.. (SARAH--> shall we??) haha ... the unagi was abit salty... but the dessert was good ... =) ... talked alot cause really quite some time since i saw them... everyone talked updated each other of their own lives.. and!!! i must mention.. Elton was an avid reader of my blog.. !! haha ... must mention .. cause he keep hinting hahaha... incase he comes back . at least.. got mention.. haha... anyway, then went to arcade to play bball .. and a newgame! that game super cute! use balls to hit insects and etc. haha .. very fun! really quite long never enter liao maybe .. i'm still a kid at heart ok! .. hehe...

Sunday was slacking at home.. haha... then went to meet mr. bf cause it was our 2th month-sary.. hehehe... he was very tired helping out at the stall so decided not to go out too.. ate chilli crab!! =)=)=) ... very nice.. i know how to cook liao.. .hehehe... next time let u all try .. hahahaha...
and he surprised me with a super cute terrapin that's like 500 times the size i bought him (i bought him a terrapin that can hang on hp one) .. haha ... super cute... super big head.. like him ... hehehe ... thanks.. =D=D=D

anyway, really wanna thank all of u guys for celebrating my bday and making effort to get presents and crackin yr head to think of ideas. really thanks! you guys are the best! Love all of you!!! muacks!!!!!!!! hahaha...

Tonight wanted to watch the dark knight .. but i gotta be at eunos cres for the polling.. eunos crescent is going to be upgraded soon so there's a polling to see whether they want it not... sian .. weekend all burn liao ... plus not feeling too well these few days... feeling heaty ... headache...

My new favourite fruit is CHERRY!!! the red cheeries from USA is very sweet.. i can only find it at cold storage thou.. =( .. and it's very expensive... jus a mere 500g cost $15 plus le... =(

well, but i really love it. hehe ... eh .. i don't mind free constant supply of cherries too!!! **ATTN:MINGYUE** hehehehehehe.....

hello hello hello!!!! I've got so much things to share!!

First, erm .. i started a part time work from today. Working at Harbourfront Centre. Abbott Laboratories as a P.A to the Director. Half day only 830 - 1230pm .. hehehe... damn good time at a damn good price... (copyright of botak jones adv) .. haha... quite fun lar.. work 4 hrs then quite some stuff to do cause she covers 16 countries... basically quite confidential so can't reveal too. my desk is super cool. privatised. hehe... although got one desk diagonally behind me.. can see wat i do.. but luckily that person not always there.. haha..

Tomorrow after work gotta go IQT for meeting for ths Saturday's Dinner and Awards Ceremony... india company.. troublesome.. haha... at Pan Pacific Hotel. This weekend burnt liao ... I wanna watch alot of shows!!! The Dark Knight!!!

went to prawn catching on friday at thomson road there. golf course there. alot of people. but the prawns very small. forget how to catch liao. only caught two and two of them escaped. hahaha..

saturday and sunday got nacli workshop.. full day... super enriching.. learning basic malay. =) .. finally started to learn .. quite tough especially must remember so many basic terms .. and then learning to form sentences.. super tough .. cause it will become broken english ..

but really fun ... i will continue to learn =)=) ..

mr bf went for a short trip with his camp mates over the weekend.

brother went sydney. I'm alone!!! haha... luckily got p.l accompany me. hehe =)

i'm freaking bored... !!!! hopefully next week got job liao .. haiz... cross fingers!!! ..
have been going to gym everyday and exercising like 2 -3 hrs a day... but the weight doesn't seem to be going down.. hahha... i think i know why... it could be due to mr. *ahem* .. feeding me too much... when u can't slim down, make others fat.hahaha...
he's going on holidays to penang on friday till monday... =( ... luckily i got two day workshop, otherwise would be dying of boredom..
went to IDP with mr bf. today.. decided to go to university of wollolonggong. --> yes, i spelt correctly.. bu yao huai yi!!! ... hahaha.. yeap. think it's unknown for u guys. but apparently univesity of melbourne does not specialise in logistic and operations. so probably choosing university of wollolonggong cause it specialises in logistic supply chain and can still do double majors in economics.. hmm... but yet to be confirmed...

but mostlikely ... 90% going??.. haha ... i think confirm going liao .. hurhur...
anyway, the university is near sydney, south of sydney, near the coastal areas... very pretty!!! very relaxing ... hahaha ...

Cao Ge Concert was fanfastic, good, great, amazing! =)=) hehehe...
My first concert, My favourite.
We reached there around 8pm.. show started at 830pm... The seating was good, 2nd level, and in front of the stage.
No camera so no photos... = ( ...
Special guests were one Hongkie guy surname is Yi ... can't remember .. then got Zhuo Wen Xuan.. and Yang Zong Wei was there too!!!!!!! He was there to watch the concert .. =)=) ...
The show ended around 11pm, with CaoGe taking off his top .. hehehehehehe.... faints...
but then when he was singing with zhuo wen xuan ... they super close... =(=( ... *jealous* ... hahaha...
But, honestly, the show cannot compare to Jay chou's Wu Yi Lun Bi concert.. his concert got lots of effects...
but still, i love the concert =)=)

Friday night went to eat steamboat at Queen's St cause it's a new Halah Restaurant. The food is good. except for the fish dumpling (i think) .. and the fishball not bouncy enough .. haha ...
after that ent to play bowling at Kallang Leisure Park ... skill drop alot.. damn lousy .. second round everyone was surprisingly suddenly become like pro... striking and sparing ... kaoz ... we 3 girls were like damn stress... haha ... bt it was fun ... very long didn't bowl le ..

Yesterday went to NACLI workshop .. 9 - 5pm .. =( .. wasted my whole Sunday ... Next Sat and Sun also going to burn my weekend for another NACLI workshop ...

ARGH!!! I HAVE SO MANY COMPLAINS!!! erm actually two only lar .. haha

First, my school has moved out of Penang Lane as they are undergoing renovations.. They moved to ex-SIC building .. which is diagonally opposite Peace Centre... That's kinda far lor.. walking ... takes like probably 10 minutes?? ... haiz .. plus, they didn't like informed us beforehand ... I heard it from my friend ... haiz ...

Second, today i dropped my hp of around 1m high ... and now ... i can't use the phone!! I can't even message cause the buttons are all messed up ... press nmbers then it will lead to menu and stuffs ... haiz ... now can only answer calls and call those who i have dialled before .. sianz ... gotta fix my phone tomorrow...

Worse still, Saturday going for Gary Cao's Concert... then cannot take photos liao... sobsobsob!!! ... gotta source for camera... brother say ask me getlor .. haiz ... dunno i should not .. argh!! why did it spoil of all this time ... sianz...

I'm back from working again ... =)
today ended early .. rushed home to change for my brother's graduation ceremony...
Today my brother is finally considered a PHD graduate although he actually completed school last year...
Took lots of photos ... but he didn't go in for the ceremony!!! haha ... cause it's two hours long .. and he dun wanna wait ... very boring ... and he went through that when he got his Bsc. degree.
So we took photos then went Ghim Moh to eat.. after that went home ...
Finally tmr can rest .. hee ....

Yesterday mr. bf went to see doctor ... he finally first time take MC ever since he went into NS .. haha ... He went to YSL ... (famous for NS personnel it seems .. ) .hhaha ... took two days MC due to GASTRIC PAIN!!!! ... hahahaha .... can't believe right??? erm .. haha ... eat like a pig but have gastric pain .. hehehe .... haha .. but he has been eating less... see! Learnt the hard way... tsk tsk ..
But i can't accompany him cause had to work ... =( .. sorry ...

Went to watch Hancock on Friday with 2H... the movie was nice .. =) .... Worth to watch! hehe.. cause i also like Will Smith.. hehe.... Before the movie, i went for dance class then i walked from Bugis to Kallang then take mrt to tanah merah and walk to Ann house... Wanted to walk all the way to his house de... but then time limit... gotta reach there by 7pm .. i finish class at 530pm ... haha ... but ended up .. i'm still the earliest .. haiz ... tsk tsk ... played MJ ... and as usual.. Ms. Yak won again... haha...

Saturday, mr. bf booked out .. his last duty!!! =) ... haha ... afternoon i had to go work ...
Sunday, work also ... setup for tomorrow Hyatt conference... luckily end earlier... went for dinner with mr. blur family at Eunos. =) ...

Tomorrow and Tuesday will be at Hyatt ...
Tuesday is my eldest bro's graduation ceremony!!!! PHD... hopefully i will be able to make it ... haiz ... then can take photo ... hehe .. cause his hat very cute!!! like mushroom! not the rectangle one .. haha ... cause PHD one different hat... hopefully can go ba ..

Went to NUH appointment yesterday at the Day Surgery clinic. Will be admitted for one day then next day discharged. wanted to do the surgeryon 6 august.. but mr bf say .. dun want.. but it will be so much fun!!! hehe... special eh... haha... operations only on tuesday or wednesday ... so .. it will be on August 13...

anyway, yesterday went to the newly renovated Chinatown Food Centre for dinner.. Well, i still prefer the old one next to the MRT .. cause it seems more lively .. the new one not many people . and don't look new too... haha ...
then mr. bf sent me home... he bought me a pillow with a photo on it. =) ..

well, i did give him something thou... An 18 hr masterpiece ... hahaha... no la... not masterpiece... just a scrapbook.. hehe ... but quite disappointed cause not very nice... haiz ..

although yesterday was fun, but still, some things will always linger .. decisions to be made and other factors to think of.. haiz.. damn sad and worried when i heard it... haiz... =(

yesterday went to meet up with Ann at PS for dinner cause the rest of them not free..
Had Thai Express and Ann was sweating all the way even though it's not warm.. haha...
Went to get some stuff and went carrefour to buy food... gonna try cooking steamed fish with ginger and spring onions, and yong tau foo soup ... Ann laughed at me .. cause he say it's damn simple... learn to walk before u run mah... haha...
then bro came to pick me up and went to IMM to close shop...
told mr. bf say i going to cook today... and he said, " woah, luckily i stay in camp, if not next day must take MC liao..." ..... &^#$@^!(... idiot... hmph! ...
later gonna go gym .. cause very long never go le...plus i'm bored!!!!
