Krrrrabi!!

Long overdue but still wanna jot this down. :)
This is sort of an unplanned trip, going there with dunno what we wanna do.
It was just meant to be chilled relaxing trip before this May thingy....

Krabi is part of a small island in Thailand. Only tiger airways flies to Krabi directly.
It's a very short flight and the airport only has two landings!
That explains why it's cheaper than Phuket maybe?

By the time we reached our hotel, it was just nice for check in time. We stayed near Aonang town, a place called Aonang Resort & Spa.
Very decent, with deco very laid back style. All the furnitures are wooden styles.
Our room was a Premium room, hence our balcony can see the resort's swimming pool and can oversee the big hill which was quite famous over there.
Our balcony was pretty spacious too!

We decided to check out if there were some island hopping or interesting activities for next couple of days.
We settled for a small shop for lunch and I think whichever shop you go, the food is waaayy better than Singapore's Thai food.
We walked around the shops and decided on one island hopping to four islands and also one evening canoeing package.
Dinner time - We went to a famous Thai restaurant recommended by many reviewers. KRUATHARA.
Food was damn good!!!!

Luckily we went early so that we didn't have to queue.
The forever good coconut drink that is good in Thailand only.

They even had a singer to entertain us, and he sings English oldies!

The next day was basically just doing the island hopping to Four Island. They have others like James Bond island, Phi Phi Island, which is cheaper to go to from Krabi than from Phuket. AND!!! You can actually go Phuket from Krabi and it's cheaper!

Did snorkelling and sun tanning.. Lunch was provided by them which is good as well. Green curry :)
The island hopping ended around 3pm, thereafter we headed back to clean up before nua-ing at a nearby cafe. That's shiokness of nua-ing. Sit, drink coffee, read magazine, watch people walking. lol.

We went to the Krabi Town Night Market which is an hour drive from Aonang. The night market only opens on weekends. Decided to try taking the public bus which is 60baht only.. :D

3rd day - Went for little self sight seeing at nearby beaches and massage. The limestones was beautiful, very natural. There were people really doing rock climbing on these uneven rocks!
The massage was cheap - SGD 30odd for 1.5hrs. They had the Aloe Vera massage which I never seen before. Apparently they have it because many people who go Krabi probably got sun burnt! haha...
Aloe Vera has very good calming and moisturizing features.

We wanted to try one popular western food for lunch.. however, we got "introduced" by the tuk tuk driver to another atas place. Apparently its the most atas place around Krabi - The Hilltop.

It has a car to bring you up to the restaurant (because it's up the hill). It feels like you are eating at Mount Faber because when you eat, it oversees the sea and landscape.

We were joking that he "bao" the whole restaurant. cause there wasn't anyone there. Guess nobody will dine in the noon. It's more popular in the evening ba.

The price is quite expensive as well, but the food was good.

Then here's our evening sunset kayaking!!! This activity was one of the best in my opinion. And I was surprised by the package. Maybe because I didn't put much expectation in it, hence I was quite happy with the service and all.
That's our guide for the evening. We went around several mangroves and it was quite calming. After the sunset, the waters were high tide and slightly difficult to kayak.

After that, the package included a BBQ dinner. Initially I though it would be a simple BBQ. Then it turned out we were seated facing the sea, like seaside dining. And there were so much food!!!! We couldn't finish at all! Chicken,prawn, sotong, fish, deserts, fruits, it was too much for just 2 of us. And the setting even had those campfire sticks.
After that, they even gave us one lattern to fly it up. Like those in taiwan. :) so sweet.

 That sums up my little trip to Krabi. Overall, it was relaxing and good experience for a beach trip! :)

Before April ends

Tried recapping what I did during April... but ... I got nothing except the latest Krabi trip which I will pen it down soooon....

The only most happening thing is I have change my hairstyle. Curled and coloured.
Freaking ex. $600. The most expensive hair in my life.
But I can say I really like the service and the hairstylist Sam. Was introduced by my colleague who is a regular there.
The salon is located at Ngee Ann City called Chez Vous. Beside Best Denki.
Colour in picture not very obvious though.

Shouldn't have went to do my hair before the Krabi trip. Cause the curl and colour is so damaging already. Still went to beach area... haha...
This trip was a well spent one, and a very relaxing one.
When I came back, my colleagues were saying I look happier, but dunno is because of the hair or of the trip. Lol...
Definitely, it was a refresher and a good getaway before May comes.
I hope I will continnue to keep my spirits up though. haha..

The date has been confirmed, 15th May, at MEH. Most probably will be on 2 week hospitalisation leave, so may not be able to meet up during these two weeks.
Sometimes it's so contradicting. I used to think how will I ever utilise my hospitalisation leave....
Now I know... I rather not utilise it. :(

Shaking March

March is pretty hell of a hectic month... Many meetups too.
First was Abbott's D&D Retro theme!
Fun to see so many ppl dressing up and feels like the channel 8's old shows...
The most happening part was after the D&D because most of them were already very high.. and first time opened a $1,000 table! It's a 3L Bereveda something.. and..
I think all of us enjoyed ourselves because it's the first time in Abbott that so many of us actually went clubbing together. 20+ pax!!!
And all different functions and still have Directors.. hahaha...
I love this company people. Fun loving bunch. not the work though. heh.

That same weekend, we had a BBQ for Finance team. Occasion was actually a farewell for my boss. Time well spent with playing with the kids and playing stupid games like... Pepsi Cola 1 2 3 ... lol...

Last week, my family went for high tea! first time go high tea at such an atas place.

Nice ambience and definitely seeing everyone get together spending quality time... heartwarming.

Seeing two little kids growing up.. :)

Some of you who know, this news have gave me lots of worry, unrest and many sleepless nights.
I don't know how long I can bear, and I don't know how long I can keep this from my family.
Very soon, I will going for operation, and probably not gonna meet up for sometime.
I pray, this will be the one and only operation. And no other therapy required.
Pray for me okie?

I'm 6 days late but who cares! Not bad already for my timing.

Celebrated our dear oldest of the group birthday at Aranda Country Club for KTV!
I think every year she celebrates her birthday at KTVs. Haha...
This year, just the four of us... oh well, friends eh... ?

Oh, just to sidetrack, after my previous post, someone msged me and asked if i'm alright. haha... so sweet.
This recent period, many people come and go, and some of my dearest people around me almost left me. And what they said was, "Say what you wanna say. Don't regret if ever you leave this world suddenly."
It struck me. Because imagine one day you suddenly drop dead, what regrets will you have?. It really happens! I believe now because I've come across these. So, I will not hesitate to speak my mind and do what I want. Strive what you want.

But still, thank you my dear mr. you-know-who-u-are. My best buddy who never leave me alone. :)

Ok, back to the main topic.....

Via bought cupcakes!! Sweet nice cupcakes!
Spent the whole afternoon singing and of course, gossiping away...
Dinner went to Hei Sushi, a subsidiary of Sakae and it's halal! Food.... Not very nice, so doubt will go bad again. Just taste slightly weird. haha...
Then after, we went to the airport on the initial thought of viewing planes taking off... but in the end, ended up chose the wrong terminal which cannot see! Don't go T2. No good, bad choice!

While our birthday girl was busy calling colleagues away to settle some urgent issue, we cam-whored.  :)
I love simple meetups like this. Cosy and relax.

But then, I got my lips swollen the very next day!!!! And made me couldn't go out on Sunday with my 4F peeps!!! :(:(:( So sad...

Shall meet them up very soon!!!

15 days of CNY 2013

Here's my 15 days of CNY spent so far. Better record down cause definitely cannot remember in the near future, and this helps for recalls!!!! Oh, and I better start taking photos esp. with the girls. haha...

CNY Family Lunch
This year, we ate during lunch instead of dinner because we realised as both my brothers are married, they have to run two places during dinner... so hence, to prevent all the rush, we push to lunch instead.
At the same time, we celebrated Lucas 1 year old!!! It's supposed to be 5th Feb to be exact, but it's a weekday.
Dad bought a huge mango cheescake cake from Grand Copthorne and it fantastic! :)

We didn't go visiting this year because my er-sao was still doing her confinement. So rot at home. Damn boring...

So... last minute meetup with my girls!!! Met up at Tampines Mac for supprt and chit chat... and we really can chat!!!! Chatted till 4AM!!!!!!!! Isit we have too many things to talk or girls can just talk??? Lol...

So girls, record that we met during CNY 2013!! hehe... 

Shortly after was Valentine's Day... Didn't do much... because it's during CNY period and was busy preparing for audit stuffs...

But he surprised me with a bourquet of flowers. He's not that type... so... surprise surprise.

Went to eat fast food and watch the wedding diary 2. Movie's not bad.

Simple outing because.. take things slow ba.

Soon, weekend, BANANAS had a gathering! Gambled & drank too! My first gamble for the year!

Bloggin away during lunch cause I can't find free time!!!! Two audits clashed.... and I have catchup lessons which burn my whole weekend!!! Boo!!!!

No 2H meetup for CNY... Why... Haiz... So much so for 12 years of friendship. Seriously? 

Snake Year

It's a brand new year. Snake year.
But the most boring CNY i ever had.
Firstly, no visiting except for Godma's place. cause family is busy taking care of new born Velda, and my dad's leaving for China tomorrow.
So.. I'm gonna be all alone.
Just don't like the raining bit cause I can't go out and run!!! I'm so freaking bored.
Luckily tomorrow the gym is open. *phew*.

Well, this snake year... some say 86 tiger is good, some say bad. What say you?
I hope it will be smooth sailing...
For a start, some of you may have known... I've moved on.
I have decided not to wait anymore, and just start brand new.
Taking things very slowly, cause I'm still not very optimistic. haha.
But he understands.
Hopefully.... this works.  *cross fingers*

This Feb will pass fast too cause audit is right after CNY. and I'm so gonna get busy again.
And...... resuming my ACCA again. This time round, I'm gonna try my luck and take 3 papers.
Although Mr. Pig says I won't have time to take 3 papers and do OT and catch up with friends. hmm....

But I wanna get over and done with so that I can leave!!!! oh yeah. that's a huge motivation. :)
Oh wells, I have 2 more days to think thoroughly ..

Taipei 2013

Exciting January went with crazy closings and then shoo! Off we went to Taipei for a week.
Had our 2012 incentive plus 2013 kick off meeting at the luxurious W Taipei.
It was premium atas!
Slightly better than the Langham Place in HongKong. It could fit in 4 people in a room, but we had 2 people each. :)

Had an eventful meeting as well as a half a day amazing race around Taipei, and boy it was tight! half day travel up and down and doing all sorts of weird stuff which we never done it before and didn't know where those places were... Plus that day was the coldest of all! 10% and raining... gosh. I was trembling when it rained.

I believed all of us had fun, and in the evening we went to Taipei 101 top restaurant for our company dinner. Food was mediocre but the view was fantastic. We had our ex FD who came as well as GOH. :)
Kinda missed him. and he brought 3 lucky draws gifts to us! 1 CARTIER, 1 MONT BLANC, 1 DUNHILL!!!! We were all drooling man. Sadly I didn't get the gift. Shit. haha...
He promised me to give a gift if I go over again! hahaha... we shall see....

The company trip ended with a Yilan tour plus hot spring which is breath taking. Beautiful scenery.
Hot spring in such a cold weather... what else can i say but fab!

After the company trip, most of us extended our stay and we went tracking near the mountain and seeing waterfalls. :) Nice experience. Weather was good and flowers astart to blossom.
Went places like Wulai falls, jiu fen, shi fen, and Mao Kong (Cable car).

Another good news to start the year is my niece is born!!!! Second's brother little dragon girl.
Both my brother I realised, have very good forecasting accuracy. One aimed just right at the start of the Dragon year, while the other, at the dragon tail.
Velda Lim, born 15th January 2012, same as my mum's birthday, sweet lil girl. :)

The beginning

After two weekends of burning at e office, I finally had time to clean up my house and properly drink a coffee and chill. That's what I'm doing now at city hall J.Co. :)
Reading books and surfing net and looking at people passing by. That's simple happiness for me.
2013 started with a big bang with lots of happenings in e office.

First being Abbott has finally split into 2 officially and globally.
The new proprietary product company, Abbvie, will stand as its own entity.
Established products will still remain as Abbott.
Abbott host finance will continue to provide services to them for 2 years though.
This means... 2 closings, 2 tax computations, 2 audits.
Felt a sense of accomplishment because I was privileged to be part of the separation project, which u hardly get such projects. I mean, not every company will do that so.. situations were all new and experimental. The wee hours of concalls and coming up with procedures wasn't for nought.

This year, another big project is up and I'm glad I'm in it as well. Another huge time.will go to that also.

Another big announcement is that my reporting manager is leaving us. She has taught me alot and am very grateful for her. Sadly, she will leave this team which has been groomed by her.
Decisions for me will need to be made as well...
Dunno what I should do and can't really discuss with anyone since even my bro is not expert to finance.

Not too Sure if I should take up 2modules at one shot this sem with external and internal audit coming up in Feb and mar. This means no taking of leave for this two months. dunno if I can cope.

Am continuing my dance lessons as well which I'm loving it!
Been chilling out with this guy at dance who is 6 years my senior. he makes sense whenever I have problems so that y I kinda like talking to him. But he's kinda ego. Probably That's because he's a background and stayed in Aussie for awhile. Likes to speed in his Volkswagen sportscar. Super rolleye.

Leaving for Taipei next week so definitely gonna meetup ex FD. So called my God father. Haha.

January gonna pass in a blur. Half passed with torturing closing, ending with holiday and setting goals.
Gonna meetup my dearies after I come back cause it's been a long time since I saw them!
Gonna try catching my long over due meetup with lost friends!

It was my first time squeezing to Marina Bay and countdown together and watch the beautiful fireworks.
Despite the rain. Carrying brolly and sitting there to "chope" our seats because we had 14 people.
During the fireworks, my mind recalled the good and bad in 2012, although more bad, but it has shaped me to be a better person, a stronger person.

oh, then after that, we changed spots and sat near the MBS entrance, in front of Avalon, playing games and drinking.
That time was hilarious. We saw many funny stuffs. While playing, we saw couple kissing passionately, it's like watching a movie. HAHAHAHA...
I saw an indian man being dragged out of MBS, all the way to main street. Super dead drunk and quite big size too. Poor friends. LOL.
One ang moh lady drunk and 3 security guards was with her! not bad eh?! Think she went drinking alone i suppose?
A few good fellas came to help her cause the security guards were guys so cannot carry her. But the drunk lady suddenly became awake and scolded the good people and walked off. Apparently, she suddenly didn't become drunk like that. haha... But the security guard were still nice to follow her even out of MBS.

Went home ard 4.30am and slept like a log. Only woke up at 11am.

Oh well, am at work now. Yes. What a way to start 2013. But it's okay, bitter now and enjoy sweetness later. :)

Meeting a friend for dinner later. My first date for 2013! haha... just wanna say something nice out of 1st day la. rather that just spending my time in the office.

This new year resolution, is to enjoy myself. :) Slow my pace, go dating!!!!! yes, I'm determined to overcome my weird habit of not dating my age. haha...

Emotional Christmas Reflection

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you are enjoying this day with your friends, family and loved ones.
As for myself, I'm spending this day with myself eating self cooked food and nua-ing at home. I hardly have such a chance ok...

This very day last year, marks a significant history in my life for some of you who know.
The first and big quarrel that ended everything.
Thninking back, honestly I don't know if I should have not done that and just simply "don't care" ... then maybe things wouldn't be so bad.
Till today, I still can't figure out.
But, what's over is over. Trying also no use. And today's me, I have taken a slightly chilled approach.
Learn to let go, and don't take everything so seriously.

I'm serious! I have gone through the rest of the days taking it as a pinch of salt. Of course, when it's really serious, u must be serious la.
But when it comes to study, work or life, I used to be very"on-the-ball" and also do my very best and if I fail, I will be so sad over myself and blame myself.
But now, I will stll do my best, but if I fail at anything, I will say to myself, "Just do better next time, don't blame yourself."
Hey it works! Cause you can't be sad over everything in life, if not, it will be very tiring.
And, you only live once, so happiness is utmost important. oh, of course, health too.
Many people in this world thinks money is very important, and are always not happy over not enough money.
Self content pls.
Nothing more I can say. And that, I'm still learning. And I think that's very important. Be humble.

This Christmas, I just wanna thank everyone in my life for being supportive during this time.
I can't wait for 2012 to be over and start afresh 2013.
And to you, you seem happier and I am happy for you. Thank you for a wonderful memory despite all that has happened. I wish all the best for you.

Merry Christmas to myself, and I pray, my health will be in pink.

Neverending Wishlist

Yea. That's the topic of the month as usual.
Wishlist.
Honestly, there's so many things you would like but ... at such times like things... I always get blanked out.
Partly because, you dunno who's gonna give you a gift, and if that person got similar taste etc.
And of course, getting a gift is a PAIN!!! Oh well, squeezing with tons of people is definitely one of them.
Cracking your head and thinking what to get from him/her is also another one.
But I do enjoy walking down the streets of Orchard Road and shopping though.
It's one of the most time in the year that I will hit the road in Orchard. and literally shop!
(cause I've shopped shopping and upgraded myself to online shopping) hee.

This week is like Orchard week. Friday down to Taka for dinner, today went to Mandarin Gallery for an impromptu brunch with mum, and tomorrow gonna shop for gifts!
It's my last weekend to buy!!!! Gosh. December seriously FLIES!!!!

I updated my wishlist to the Santa who's gonna give me a gift. But I hope we are on the same frequency. haha...

Today, my mum suddenly asked me a question.

"Do you know what exactly happened between papa and me?"

After 10years, you asked me this. and wanted to explain to me. Well, to me, it doesn't matter anymore. It's over already, and everyone moved on. Dad has learnt and earning his own keep.
I may think wrongly, or even fault wrongly, but telling me now doesn't change anything.
No matter what I can't change my parents right?

All of you have reasons to do something. If it makes u happy, go ahead.

I lead my life, i create the future I want, and make sure I won't follow your steps.

This saturday gonna celebrate my Dad's 60th birthday. Excited and looking forward to it! :)

The $100 Startup

I have been reading this book ever since I came back form Aussie.
It's called The $100 Startup.

It's a nice readable book where it makes you think of opportunities.
Why I like this book is because it doesn't just focus on making money, doing businesses, but it's more of finding what you think is profitable, yet you will find enjoyment in what you are doing.
Something that should be giving you satisfaction, more free time, and being able to live a life you enjoy.
That's why it has the wording"Fire your boss, Do what you love and Work Less to Live more!!!"

If you have time, do try reading this book.

November is gonna be busy, with Corporate tax comp due on 30th November, interim audits starting next week, and Entity Plan due next week as well.

Best thing is, my study times gets eaten up!! Argh! I hope I won't fail though... even though... probability is extremely high for the effort i'm putting in. It's even less than half of my usual time spent!

But surprisingly, I'm not very very tensed up like before.
I think i'm learning to look at a brighter side where life is not all academic-y and striving up.

Got rejected for the Sydney posting ... sadded for awhile... but still... am still looking out. :)

2 weeks over there was amazing. Relaxed, just chilling by the parks and cafes ...
taking time to breathe the fresh air and reading motivating books.
I would say this trip is an absolute refresher for me.
Not like those in HK/BKK where you keep shopping and get tired, this is not. No shopping, just sightseeing and taking your time in everything. Well, that's what you get in Australia.
Everything is slow pace.. which is good. Work-life balance.

Supposed to be a perfect day.
Mum went on to talk about it.
I just listened and tried to control but I failed in the end.

Bangkok

4 days of bangkok retreat.
Been walking n walking. Didn't bought much stuff. When u shop for one, u definitely buy less things. But somehow... tend to see some nice things.. n realise u can't buy. Cause no one to give. And u just stop shortly. Happened many times to me.
Sometimes send moments just take u back to where u were before.

If I remember correctly... I just took once with him. N. That's it. Right.

Mirror images

Sometimes as u walk along e street, do u see images or action that u have done or pass through before?
I do.
And I often get these.
Seeing others doing through those actions, sweet.
And u knowu been through. And suddenly u get emotional. And all the if onlys starts coming to your mind.

Someone reminded me this. But I always have this bad habit... thinking about everyone of what they will think. Make sure everyone happy.

On a random note, ever wanna try something out of e norm?
We all live in a cycle - child, study, teenage, young adult, working, finding a partner, to settling down and have a family... And this goes on.

Bad to Worse

Breathing has become from bad to worse these few days.
Went for run on Thursday - No good.
Decided to run on Sunday. No good still.
Tried to run today again. Finally made a 5km successfully without stopping but breathing still bad.
Am determined to keep running to fight against this..... even though, i'm afraid i'll collapse halfway....

This problem will forever be a liability and never go away. :(

Baby Lucas - 4 months

Jan zip like a pass

The financial year end closing finally came to a close. Working till midnight to entertain US people; working on Sunday to send reports on due on that day.
Seriously wonder if i'm underpaid. lol.
New year started with spending more time at ECP enjoying the breeze and chit chatting till dawn and watching sunrise.
It's been a long time since I last did that. :):):)

Shall do it sometime again soon.. Escape from the hectic city lifestyle.

I have only set 1 resolution this year, as of now.
Maximum 2 day of OT per week ONLY!!! No more extras!

Christmas Aftermath

I've got to admit I'm not as young and happening as before. 2 days of late night sleeping and partying, the next day I spent my whole day sleeping till 3pm.
Gosh! First time sleeping till so late!

Christmas eve eve had a party at my place with some colleagues + frens.
Just 6 of us, drinking all night long. It was bad. vomited. haha... All because of the last 11 shots.
No more of such things.

Headed to Ann's place for BBQ night & had lots of fun!!!
I think the highlight of the night was Ann getting Ben's present - The REAL shower head!!! lol...

Tell me why am I still in the office when everyone's enjoying their breaks??!!!
Gosh! Seriously thought this week will be a breeze but hell no. Those who are still in office will spend these time to chase backlog and do those low priority projects.... Argh...

And up to today, i'm not done with my presents!!! Faint!

Must definitely go buy tomorrow. Last day!!!

With all the xmas givings, I have been eating chocolates almost everyday!!!! better do more exercise before the irritating lump comes out.

Festive Sparkles

I always love Christmas the most cause everywhere is lit up with beautiful lightings!!!

Plus, the cold weather (minus the rain) makes it feels like winter... well... FEEL la... haha

Have not done my shopping rounds but am planning to do some rush hour grabs soon! cause i'm left with 5 days!!!

Was walking at Bugis and saw someone wearing Chanel wearing and necklace. I went online to browse but dun have!!! I think it's not sold in Singapore? Thought of treating myself to a gift after getting salary, but, suan le. Save $$$ since cannot buy.... but isn't it pretty? I dun really like Chanel la... but then, it really caught my eye..

Went to sort of celebrate my boy's birthday on last Sunday at Mandarin MELT buffet. It's fabulous!!! I ate lots of oysters!!!! Super fresh! It's festive season so they serve more meaty stuff like turkey. Not bad, but their seafood & desserts still rocks!

wanted to bring him to Flyer, but he didn't want cause he said we all said it's nothing nice. (so dun complain ah)... hehehe

Next year is gonna be hectic, so i'm still comtemplating whether to continue my studies next year or stop for a year before I continue so that I can concentrate on my house + wedding plans for next year. hmm.... whatcha think?

Now is a more relaxed season with many colleagues going on leave, and doing new role (finally!).. less OTs for me!!!! :):):) and of cuz, that's y u see me updating here hahaha...

Next year's gonna be a good year! (i hope!)

More resignees?

Well, my direct boss is moving on as a financial controller.

And the current financial controller will be a project manager... Haiz....

And so, the FP&A mgr headcount will be empty, pending new one.

As for me, I still need to continue doing FP&A till the new person come then I can move over to my new role doing tax and inventory.

I think.... There will be more changes to come ba... So many ppl are shocked. Cause I tot there will be two controller... But instead.... Haiz...

Poor girl. Hopefully all goes well for her.....

Kukup Trip 16-17 July

Went for a short trip to Kukup with a roup of friends.. some are colleagues, some are unknown frens whom we got to know each other in the trip. We are all quite open and "anything" so it was easy to break the ice and had some fun.

Kukup is actually a nice place to take a break. Although very poor living condition, the place is very laid back and very very BEAUTIFUL sunset.
Our "chalet" had seaview, and our huge balcony can see the sunset. :):):)
Just amazing, because u hardly get to see the sunset unless u r uber free.

The place is like a chalet where it's double check beds, and one floor can fit up to 20 ppl. Minimum 10 to go. The owner arrange mini van transport to pick us up at singapore and go directly over there.

What i love about there is u do not have to do anything!!!! The package ($85/pax) includes transport, and 6 meals within 2D1N!!!! And they serve you! By the time you reach there is noon, so the meals starts from there.... Lunch, tea break, dinner (BBQ), supper, Breakfast, Lunch.
Seriously, you just keep eating and eating. hhaaha...

what to do? walk around the kampong, ... i like cause it's different from Singapore. The place is actually above sea level, so the houses aer built above it using bamboos etc. like fishing village. Their famous product is dried shrimp/ fish.

You can also play mahjong (there's 4 tables) and there's KTV too. So 4 of us played mahjong and the rest sing KTV taking turns. Quite good. Everyone is entertained.

Did lots of cuts for the jump pose.. it was hilarious.

After BBQ dinner, we spent quite a lot on the fireworks.. it's beautiful.. :) my fav.
After supper, we put the kong ming deng.

It's pretty relaxing and laid back lifestyle. kinda like it. not like singapore. everyone rushing here and there.

Tmr off for another trip again. Malacca! Brother's wedding over there :) .. Another excuse to go shop and eat. hehe...

Post exam review

After so long.... Decided to reblog. Haha. It's a place to speak my mind.

Exams are finally over and it's time for play!!! It's a different feeling when I was taking Fundamental papers and now, Professional paper. Stress level is high.

Hence, have decided to take things slow, enjoy the pace of life and appreciate the process. Shall be taking only 1 paper this semester, also in case if I fail la.... Haha... *choy*!

Am thinking of re igniting my love for dance and also start learning a new language. :):)

Gonna plan for lots of meetup!!! Tomorrow is my first play! 2H!!!

Also, I have rejected the offer of a Regional role. It may be a big opportunity cost (because it's a regional role), but to me, the counter offer was something that I am looking forward. Theres a change in job scope which I wanna learn, and of course, lesser OT!!! Hahaha.... Also, of cuz, they met the terms of the other party and a promotion. To me, regional position may be a huge promotion, but right now, I dun need regional in my resume. To be able to learn other area is what I wanted.

But! I was stupid to reject a competitor opportunity. Damn! Well, forget it. Next time ba. Haha.

Sales are here but I haven got a chance to shop!!! I wanna get a polaroid!!!! And also clean up my room. I have 2 cupboard of clothes (yes. That's right) am gonna clear old clothes so that I can throw 1 cupboard and buy a study table :):):)

Complain queen

On my way back from gym.
Today my big boss really pissed off. Want something immediately and that task is so tedious and mafan and non value adding. Refused to do... In the end my boss do it. 
And I foresee I will be the one doing it monthly. Really think we all very free lor. Feel like throwing letter.
Go off site meeting also expect us to do presentation and area of improvement. 3-6points per person. I got two job scope so it's 6-10points... Damn it man. Should have just took the mastercard job which pays so well and only do 1/2 of my current job scope. Sian... Today really sian

My life now

Ok am trying to use notes and see if I can upload text to my blog cause I have been neglecting and underground tunnels is the best way that I have time to blog.

Since 2011, I have been busy and have no 'Me' time already cause it's spent on washing clothes, cleaning toilet, mop floor, change bedsheet, iron.. Aiya u name it I've done it.

And because of this, I have spent lesser time with bee cause I need to study too.. This year lagi jialat. Professional papers. Heard they are killers.

Btw, in case u didn't know. I passed my both papers last sem!! Woots!!! Heng man!!!

But this sem dunno got so lucky not cause heard many ppl stopped at professional papers cause they keep failing ...

Every sat got class then I have two more months to exam liao but I haven studied yet... It's damn difficult to listen attentively for 3 hours man.

Well, gotta stop here. Next stop clementi. Prays this works.

wow. guess no one will look at this blog anyways. haha. but this is just my area of anger management, and feelings inside me , that one day i will be able to see my younger days.

It chinese new year chu 3. but this year's so boring. nothing much.. haiz.
Left tomorrow's last day then back to work again.

Guess i can't quit finance industry as yet. cause everyone is against it. want me to try another year in another company and if it still doesn't work out, i can do what i like.
Well, yes, finance industry is thriving and pay is also lucrative. but, the stress level. bth. unless i join small firms ba.. no need to memorise US GAAP, IFRS, Singapore Tax rules.. i guess.. MNC just expects yr brains to remember all sorts of things. and esp. when im in analyst, they expect u to remember what was the initial planned sales number in round 1 when we have been through 4 rounds of changing numbers?
haiz. guess it's different culture ba. many ppl are quitting. and that explains itself.
definitely quitting, but just thinking wad should be my next step of "trying". Audit? MNC? different industry?
audit will be same working hours like what i'm doing now. expect to work till 12mn. OFTEN.
well, confused. take my time to think bah.

With all the holidays for the past week, think i need to work late nights to meet US deadline again. damn.

This year's gonna be exciting for me. Brother getting married. I need to start planning my future. Hoepfully, everything will go well this year.
and yup, start learning cooking. actually, i'm rather pleased with myself that I can manage cleaning the house, washing clothes, ironing, and keeping the house clean without any help. :)
